Capítulo 13: Chapter 11
I grabbed the baby from the bandit's hand before he dropped to the ground.
As soon as all the threats were clear, the villagers came running out of their house, looking at me in amazement. But before they could say anything, a woman came running out of her house, pushing everyone, squeezing through the crowds of people.
"MY BABY!" She said as she ran towards me, and halted in front of me, tears streaming down her face, she opened her hands in defeat as her hands trembled from relief and adrenaline.
I placed the baby between her hands as she looked at the baby with weakness in her eyes, she kissed the baby on the forehead as she smiled when the baby nuzzled against the warmth emitted from her body.
"Thank you, Boy." An old man came as he placed a hand on my shoulder, as he smiled at me.
"Sorry about the mess." I said, as I hinted at all the dead bodies and the blood on the ground.
"For what you did for us, it matters not, these scumbags were harassing us for 2 years, we couldn't do anything, we called the police, but they ignored our plea for help, we just want to say thank you." He said as he got on the ground and bowed as tears started to stream down his face.
Seeing the old man, they all got on the ground as they bowed, showing their gratitude.
I looked at them with widened eyes, not expecting them to bow to me like that.
'They must have suffered a lot, anyways.'
"Please get up, you don't have to be grateful, I was not doing this for you, I did it for myself."
"You are humble." The old man said as he smiled as he got up while the other followed behind.
"I am just a somebody who is on a journey and nothing more, I came here to know about the way to Okutama town of Nishitama district." I said, as I tried to be freed by their gratitude as soon as possible.
"Fine, just take this with you, we are very grateful for your help." The old man chuckled as he smiled, understanding that the kid didn't like others to be in debt of him.
The man gave me a pouch full of silver coins with a one band of 1000 yen.
"And boy you can come with me, I was already going to Okutama town to drop some supplies off, you can come with me." A man came forward as he smiled, prepared his stuff and got on the carriage.
"I'll take you up on that offer." I said as I climbed the carriage.
The man whipped the donkey as it started to move. Seeing me going the villagers started to wave their hands as they gave me a look full of gratitude.
I nodded and laid down and started to look at the sky in thought.
'Strength makes you survive, without strength, you are going to live in hell.' I thought as I glanced at the broken will of the villagers.
Their faces were covered with hollow smiles.
'Unlucky people they are.'

In a few hours the sky started to turn dark and fortunately as soon as the sky turned dark we reached the town full of light bustling with people, smiling, drinking and eating.
"We are here." The man said, but when he looked behind, there was no one in his carriage, slightly freaking him out.

I walked around the town filled with people. I looked around, amazed at the amount of people here in the town.
After asking around, I found out there were many districts here. Even their own red-light district. But what interested me was the Nishitama district.
'In the history of Japan, then this must be Tokyo.'
I went to Nishitama district and near it was Mt. Kumotori.
"Finally." I sighed to myself as I walked up the mountain, in my way I encountered the small living place of the man who kept Tanjiro when Muzan attacked in winter.
In a few minutes, I reached the place where the Kamado family lived.
I climbed a tree and saw them eating and talking happily, with a smile on their faces.
'So, what to do now?' I asked myself as I looked at the sky in thought.
"I should figure it out in the morning, I can't do anything right now, the night time is when they are the most cautious and scared, if I go knock on their door, then they might think of me as a killer or something, but it might be possible since I am only a 12-year-old, and I am going to be 13 in a few months.
Also, the adult age of this era is 13 to 15 for boys, and for girls it's 10 to 13.
'Hmm, I should just sleep right now.' I sat on the tree branch and went into a half sleep and half awake state.

[Morning]
I opened my eyes and yawned.
Noticing something in my hand, it was a large headless snake.
"Nice, breakfast for me." I jumped down the tree and went into the woods, and found some dried woods for me to use.
It was hot, so it was easy to find some dried fire wood.
I collected them and lit a fire with my bending and skewered the snake with a stick and started to roast it. The snake was quite large, so I may be able to make snake jerky in a few days, from the leftover snake.
After roasting the snake on a fire, I was about to eat it but was stopped.
"What are you doing?" I heard a voice from afar.
I turned my gaze and saw Tanjiro looking at the roasted snake in my hand.
I looked at him for a few seconds before an idea played in my head.
"Eating." I simply said as I started to chew on the roasted snake.
"Hey! Stop, that's not good for eating." Tanjiro ran at me as he snatched the roasted snake from my hand and made me spit out the snake by showing his finger's in my mouth.
He dropped the snake on the ground and mixed it with dirt, so that I can't eat it anymore.
I looked at him with anger (Acting) "That was nice of you, making me starve, it was the last food I have eaten after 10 days."
I started to walk in the other direction in anger.
Tanjiro looked like he did the most sinful thing he ever did, he took the last piece of food from a starving person and made him hungry even more, but an Idea came to his mind. 'I should invite him to eat with my family.'
"STOP!!! STOP!!! WAIT, DON'T GO" Tanjiro started to run toward me while he yelled at the top of his lungs to stop me.
I looked behind and saw him coming like a bull with steam coming from his nostrils.
"What is it?" I asked.
Tanjiro with a big smile said, "Why don't you come with me to my house. We'll eat food there with my family."
