Capítulo 192: Blake: The Sword Comes! Professor Mcgonagall: Don't Step On The Sword And Fly!(1)

"This is not good."

Blake's face showed a troubled expression.

"You are the professor."

"How can a professor be an assistant to a student?"

Babbling stared at Blake.

"I always feel like you're scolding me..."

"You're being sensitive, I didn't mean that..." Blake quickly denied it.

"But... since we are working towards the same goal."

"Does it really matter who is the assistant?"

"It's just a title."

"As long as the job is done well, it's fine."

Babbling knew that Blake was saving face for her.

She had no choice but to give up.

But she couldn't help but feel uncomfortable, knowing that her proficiency in ancient Runic was not as good as Blake's.

And then she felt even more uneasy...

"Alright, but you won't be able to avoid detention for this month..."

"Ah... I was supposed to teach you ancient Runic, but it turns out you're teaching me..."

"But, this is also a gift."

"Originally, there were very few people whose proficiency in ancient Runic surpassed mine."

"This meant that my proficiency in ancient Runic did not improve for a long time."

"Your presence, for me, is a good thing."

"This month, I'll trouble you, Professor Green!"

Looking at Babbling, who was approaching with a mischievous smile, Blake shivered.

"Professor, you need to calm down..."

Blake thought for a moment.

Then he said, "Since we want to promote the progress of ancient Runic together..."

"Then..."

He placed a new piece of parchment in Babbling's hand.

"I also want to know, Professor Babbling, your proficiency in ancient Runic..."

"Just write down the ancient Runic that you understand."

Babbling was taken aback, and then she gritted her teeth and took the parchment.

Now she really wanted to punch someone, but...

It seemed that it was unavoidable.

Since she wanted to seek advice...

The other party should also know how much she understood.

It could only be said that the offensive and defensive strategies were different.

This time, it became Professor Babbling's turn to write down ancient Runic.

Professor Babbling picked up the quill pen with tears in her eyes.

"If only you were a few years older, I wouldn't feel so uncomfortable..."

"How long have you been learning ancient Runes?"

Blake calmly said, "About two months, give or take 15 days."

The quill pen in Babbling's hand suddenly snapped.

"You really deserve to die!"

[Ding! Detected feelings of jealousy.]

[Ding! Extracting treasure chest for the host.]

[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining a silver treasure chest.]

After leaving Professor Babbling's office.

Blake felt refreshed and invigorated.

Although Professor Babbling's proficiency in ancient Runic was not as good as his own,

He still gained something from it.

Blake could recognize and understand the ancient Runic that Professor Babbling wrote down,

Except for one that he had never seen before.

After consulting Professor Babbling,

She told Blake that she saw it while exploring an ancient tomb.

She then recorded it.

After many experiments, she roughly guessed the meaning of this ancient Rune.

According to Professor Babbling,

This ancient Runic was found on a mechanism in the ancient tomb, and it roughly meant "manipulate."

Blake recalled that ancient Runic.

The character seemed to be composed of six small symbols, similar to radicals in Chinese characters.

Blake felt that this character was not as simple as Professor Babbling had described.

In the ancient Runic language, each symbol could represent a meaning, but this ancient Runic was composed of six patterns.

How could it only have the meaning of "manipulate"?

By now, it was already past eleven o'clock at night.

However, Blake had been thinking about that ancient Rune all along, without paying attention to the time.

"Who's there!?" Blake turned around.

He saw Filch panting as he rushed over.

But he was holding a mop and a bucket in his hands.

There was still a lingering anger on his face.

"It's you?" Filch put down the mop. "Go back... if I catch you wandering at night again, I'll take you in."

After seeing that it was Blake, Filch remembered that Blake had once treated his cat's illness, so he decided to let Blake off the hook.

"Thank you, Mr. Filch," Blake said politely,

"This is..."

"Hmph... it must be the Weasley twins! Those two bastards!"

"This was blatant revenge!"

"Unfortunately, they ran too fast!"

Blake remembered when those two guys left in the afternoon.

Their pockets were filled with dung balls.

Come to think of it...

Filch must still be cleaning up the mess. There's no way around it, he was a muggle and couldn't use magic.

Wizards could easily clean up stains with a wave of their hand. He'll have to scrub for over an hour!

Blake rubbed his chin.

Then he took out a stack of parchment the size of a hand and a pen with special ink from his pocket.

Then he wrote a few ancient runes on the parchment. After finishing one, he handed it to Filch.

Filch didn't quite understand what he was doing. But based on their previous trust, he didn't ask right away. After a while, Blake finished writing ten sheets.

"Mr. Filch, these are ten magical runes with cleaning abilities. For any stains that can't be cleaned, you can press firmly on this dot. When you feel the paper heating up, throw it where you want to clean."

Blake wasn't worried that Filch wouldn't be able to use these runes.

Because muggles and squibs were different. Compared to muggles, squibs may not be able to perform magic, but they still have magical power within them.

This is also why, dumb cannons could see things that only wizards can see.

Filch looked at the parchment in his hand with astonishment. He doubted whether this thing was really as useful as Blake said.

"I'm leaving now, goodnight Mr. Filch," Blake said and left.

Filch looked at the parchment in his hand. Although he didn't know if it was really effective, but... he was tired of cleaning up those damn dirty things!

Filch came to a large stain. The stench immediately hit him, fueling his anger. He had just heard Blake's footsteps while cleaning up this mess.

'It's really hard to clean! Damn it! Can't they stop throwing dung eggs?'

Filch picked up a piece of parchment. He looked at the parchment, under those strange symbols. He found a small red dot. Just enough to place a finger on.

So, without hesitation, Filch pressed it. After a while, he felt the parchment starting to heat up. Filch quickly threw the parchment onto the pile of dirt.

Then...

Filch only felt a flash of light in front of him. Then the stain he had been cleaning for over an hour disappeared without a trace! Filch was overjoyed.

This effect was similar to when a wizard casts a cleaning spell!

In other words.... this piece of parchment made him a dumb cannon.

He also gained abilities similar to magic! So... if he learns these strange symbols... could he indirectly perform magic?!

The more Filch thought about it, the more excited he became.

He carefully stored away the remaining nine pieces of parchment as if they were treasures.
