Sleeping didn't seem to be an option that night, so Rhett instead spent his time working on another case. 

He and Farkas had concluded that there was a high-ranked traitor in their midst a while back, and Rhett had suspected Beta Darius... Before his death. 

After reporting the Beta's death to Alpha Beowulf, he noticed something off about him and began suspecting that he was the traitor. 

However, with everything he'd discovered today, he was beginning to rethink that as well. 

"Fergus..." He muttered to himself as he drummed his fingers on his table. 

A vampire so cunning that he'd kept himself hidden in their midst all this while without arousing any suspicions. Rhett felt like there was more to him than meets the eye.
