The next morning, long after Fergus had slipped back into Rhett's house, he was delighted when he got downstairs and saw the news. 

Dew was dead… of course, he'd been the one to kill her. He hadn't bothered hiding the body just to keep the pack on their toes. Now the pack soldiers were left wondering why this random fairy girl had been murdered. 

What made Fergus even more delighted was watching Kylo spiral slowly into mad rage after he found out. He seemed like he was in denial at first, but soon began vowing to kill the person who killed his mate. 

However, Isleen, being the annoying softball that she was, tried calming down her ex-boyfriend. Fergus used the opportunity to whisper reasons why Gamma Rhett was incompetent. Reasons why Kylo should be angry at him.

As if sleeping with his girlfriend wasn't enough.
