Capítulo 137: Where Alexi Went

Soren's and Savannah's first few days working for Durfort Inc. was far from peaceful. 

With more team members I was able to divide the work with Emily focusing on the investigation and Soren assigned to helping me with company matters.

Grandpa also decided to hand down more industries and companies to report to both me and Lex. This was something Lex hadn't faced either in the years I was gone.

We were both exhausted by the end of the week, both too tired to even dare think of work, and yet we had to.

Grandpa only allowed relatives to attend meetings with me, meaning our family members who headed companies needed to be familiar with their work. It was honestly a good way of catching slackers. 

"I have to admit, that cousin Lionel of yours is good, like real good at his work," Soren admitted as he walked into my office with a pile of documents.
