Capítulo 93: Subpar, Subhuman

Lokus peered into the contents of the wooden bowl. The red stew within had many chunks within it, some appearing to be less than palatable, including chopped eyeballs, diced tongues, and coagulated blood that floated on the top in a thin film.

But when the mouthwatering scent taunted his nose, he began to drool beside himself, and before he knew it, he was gulping the mixture down.

Tack!

The empty bowl was placed on the table as Lokus leaned back, rubbing his stomach with a pleased expression. It hadn't been much in volume, but the stew had sated even his appetite. He didn't think he had room for another bowl.

Endalia wrinkled her nose as she glanced at his bowl, flashes of him eating the mole demon resurfacing in her mind, and she had to stifle a gag. "I can't believe you ate that."

"It was actually surprisingly good," Lokus told her. "You should try it."

"I'm not going to – Eh? Sakari, you too?"
