Capítulo 78: Good Meal

The icy claws ripped the tail to shreds, and he dropped to his knees, gasping for breath. But even though his lungs were on fire, he still glared up at the demon, willing his scalpels forward.

The blades ruthlessly stabbed again and again into the demon's unfrozen backside as Lokus crawled over to his staff and used it to stand. Then, eyes alit with fury, he walked over to the demon.

Its eyes burned with a hatred so fierce he almost thought they would melt the ice as he approached, but it was helpless to do anything as he raised his staff.

'Goodbye,' he said, thrusting forward.

The ice shattered and the demon's skull caved slightly, but Lokus just brought his staff back and attacked again.

On the fourth hit, the demon's eyes had lost their fearsome glow and its face had been reduced to a mess of blood and bone shards.

He stepped back as the demon slowly toppled over, the ice along its body cracking on the ground as its tail violently twitched.
