Superego stood still in shock when suddenly, the door was pushed open a crack, and another Shiller squeezed in, shouting frantically:
"Damn Arrogant!!!! You are Arrogant!! You're not Deceit!! You damn liar!! Is this batman?!!!!"
With a "bang", the door was pushed open again. Superego was knocked off balance as three Shillers rushed in, saying, "Oh, my God! I'm glad I ran fast, did you see that thing?!!"
"Of course, my God, when I saw him at first, I thought Barbados had tracked me down to my house!! Are you telling me this is Batman?!!"
"Liar! Arrogant! Big Liar! Batman?? What did he use to review your paper? Eyes bigger than copper bells?!!"
"Conspiracy! What happened?! How did he defeat Beelzebub? I heard he directly devoured Beelzebub??? He's a human, isn't he afraid to burst eating the whole soul of a Demon King?!!"
After a while, one Shiller after another rushed in, appearing quite disheveled and speaking quite rudely.
After some time, a group of surviving Shillers huddled in the first-floor lobby, constantly discussing.
The main topics of their discussion were two things: Arrogant should change his name to Deceit, and Batman should change his name to Barbados.
Superego peeked through the door crack again, but in reality, he couldn't get a full view of the giant bat.
Shiller's Tower of Thought, was a landmark building in Hell, taller than the castles of many demon kings. However, Superego roughly estimated that the height of the tower and the diameter of the huge bat's eyeball should be about the same.
Superego slowly reached out his hand, shutting the last bit of the door, turned around and began to speak: "I think, the rules of this competition were hastily made, with a lot of room for optimization. The first thing to optimize, is the champion's choice, I think Arrogant is not bad, what do you all think?"
Instantaneously, the room fell silent, and the other Shillers who were just yelling at Arrogant immediately changed their attack and began clapping.
"Rightfully deserved! It's no wonder he is Arrogant!"
"Too powerful, too powerful, is this the discerning eye of original sin personality?!"
"Let's congratulate Arrogant for winning the championship! Where is the champion? I want to shake his hand!"
"Yes, let's welcome the champion's return home, where is he?"
Superego paused for a moment, then also started thinking. Generally speaking, Arrogant Shiller is Batman's staff officer. Now that the giant bat has already stormed the tower, based on Arrogant Shiller's personality, he should be marching towards the tower full of confidence, ready to harshly taunt the remaining characters.
But looking around, while there were many demon soldiers still fighting on the battlefield, mainly the army brought by Batman and the forces that have been besieging the tower, there was no sign of Shiller.
At this moment, Superego looked closely and noticed a small shadow within the front claws of the flapping bat. Closer inspection revealed that it seemed to be an unconscious Shiller.
Superego's eyes widened, he touched his chest, cleared his throat, and then said, "The good news is, I found where Arrogant is, the bad news is, he has been kidnapped by Batman..."
The room fell silent once again, and this time, an even greater commotion erupted from outside the tower. All the personalities rushed to the windows to look out.
They saw that the powerful demon kings in Hell had gathered together. Beelzebub, Azazel, Astro, and many other old demon kings had come here.
Beelzebub, who was covered in eyes, his deep voice echoed in the battlefield: "Stop him! We can't let him seize that tower, or the throne of Satan will inevitably change hands!"
All the demon kings raised their weapons, because they knew that what Beelzebub said was true. Batman had eaten Beelzebub, and his soul strength had reached the level of a demon king. If he devoured the whole tower again, his soul strength would dominate over Hell.
Moreover, Batman is not a native of Hell and will not abide by the rules here. Perhaps, he is not interested in the throne of Satan at all. No one knew whether he would devour all beings when he became powerful enough.
Looking at the sky-shielding Bat Monster, all the demon kings couldn't be certain of the answer.
So, they had to stop Batman from getting near that tower. Whoever took down the tower, it must not be the outsider Batman.
All the demons launched an attack towards the tower, but the monstrous Batman did not move; he just hovered in mid-air, coldly watching all the demons.
So, a peculiar scene unfolded.
The demon kings surrounded the tower, ready to defend, while the giant black bat hovering in the distance looked like the monster attacking the location.
Batman had become the demon king, and the demon kings had become the heroes. The battle for the tower had turned into a tower defense battle, and it seemed like the heroes were not very likely to succeed.
There was a terrifying power hidden within Batman's soul. That power originated from the dark roots of the world, and the soul of Beelzebub served as a catalyst.
Originally, whenever these dark tides erupted, Batman could not control himself. However, after so many training, the shadows hidden in his heart had dispersed quite a bit, and combined with his unyielding faith and strong willpower, Batman was controlling this great and terrifying power with his rationality for the first time.
