The horse drawn carriage was moving at a steady pace. Daniyel didn’t want to tire his only transport, although there was the fear of getting caught. No one really knew yet; they were gone. They were not significant enough to be searched for right away. But they would be chased once the dust settled down. Daniyel was sure.

“That son of no man is probably doing something terrible to my King and Queen.” Daniyel almost teared up from sorrow. He felt he was betraying the king. “Not being by my king’s side at a time like this…” But he couldn’t finish. Emmita caught him off guard.

“Then who will take care of our young prince? If you stayed, then I would have to follow my husband’s fate… Then? What about this baby? Do you want him to die a meaningless death? I am holding the future of Babil Kingdom in my arms; do you understand that?”
