"H-hey, Suisei." Satou raised a hand in greeting, the onion still holding onto him for dear life. "It's been a while."
Lifting her golden axe over her shoulder, Suisei pouted towards Satou. "It has been, honey. You haven't been avoiding me, have you?"
Sweating, Satou raised both of his hands in surrender. "O-of course not. L-listen Suisei-"
"Dear."
Satou began to feel his back getting wet from sweat under the immense pressure that was being emitted. "W-what?"
"I told you to call me dear, remember? Or did you forget?"
"N-no, of course not... dear."
Smiling, the pressure disappeared as Suisei then turned her attention to Aqua, whose eyes were spinning.
"Aqua-chan, how have you been?"
"G-g-g-good?"
"That's good to hear."
"Awawawa..."
As the elevator doors closed again, Suisei tapped on the number 1. The elevator began rising once more.
"S-so, how have you been... dear?"
"Good. INoNaKa Music has been nice to me, and AZKi has been helping me improve my singing. You are going to come listen, right?"
Shaking his head, he rejected the option. "Sorry, but not today. I need to talk to Tanigo-san."
Pouting, Suisei released her grip on the axe, causing it to disappear in motes of blue light. "I really did miss you, honey. It felt like you were doing your best to avoid me. Like you were gapping away from me ever since we first met or something."
Tails stiffening, Satou could only helplessly shake his head. "O-of course not."
Glancing at Aqua briefly, Satou noticed that she had fainted on her feet, the pressure too strong to withstand. Gently putting a hand on her shoulder, he pulled her closer to him, draping his arms over her shoulders.
Noticing the action, Suisei looked at Satou before giggling lightly to herself, whispering. "Honey is as nice as ever, huh?"
"Hmm? Did you say something?"
Grabbing Satou's left arm, she got closer to Satou, grinning. "Nope. Not a thing."
The three of them went up in silence, enjoying the peace. As they arrived at the 20th floor, the doors opened, which slowly awoke Aqua.
"Good morning princess. It's time for me to go."
"Eh? EH? EH?!" Aqua found herself in Satou's arms, and blushing hard, immediately pulled herself from his grasp. "I-I'm sorry, Satou-sama! I didn't mean to-!"
Patting her head once more, Satou simply smiled. "It's fine Aqua."
Steam gushing from her head, Aqua simply looked down, melting to the touch. "Y-yesh..."
"What about me honey?" Suisei simply put her hands behind her back, smiling lightly.
Swiftly switching targets, Satou began patting Suisei to her delight. He patted for a while, before eventually stopping. "I got to go now. I'll make sure to take you guys out for food later."
"I'll hold you to it."
"Y-yes!"
"See you guys later."
As the doors closed, Satou smiled, before approaching the double doors in front of him.

Knocking on the door, Satou slowly opened it. "I'm coming in."
"Oh! Come in Satou-kun."
Walking in, Satou found himself staring at Motoaki Tanigo. He was writing on a piece of paper with a pen tapping his black hair. Putting the pen down, he slowly stood up, revealing his black suit with a white undershirt.
"How are you doing, Tanigo-san?"
Sighing, Tanigo shook his hand. "I've told you before, just call me Yagoo. Everyone does at this point."
"Even your wife?"
"Yes."
"Ah... then Yagoo-san?"
"Just Yagoo will work."
"Alright then. Ah right, I brought a gift."
Reaching into his sleeves, Satou quickly pulled out a sake bottle.
"Snow Flower Sake. I got it from a blue-haired half-elf I met."
"Oh? Thank you very much. Let's open it when we go out for drinks with A-chan."
Putting the bottle into a nearby cabinet, Satou and Tanigo took a seat on a nearby sofa.
"So what did you want me for? Is there an issue with the current living arrangements?"
"No, I just wanted your advice and perhaps assistance with the next step."
"Oh? Are you planning on expanding the group once more?"
Satou was deep in thought. It had only been a month since Korone and Okayu debuted. Another Generation?
"Yes. I was thinking of introducing Generation 3."
"You have them already?"
"We have found two who are already interested. Usada Pekora and Uruha Rushia."
"Can I meet them?"
"They should be with A-chan currently."
Creating a gap, Satou stuck his head through it, spotting A-chan who was currently talking with a blue and white-haired rabbit girl and a mint-green-haired loli.
"That- AHH! A FLOATING HEAD-PEKO!"
"NEHHHHHHHHH!"
As the two girls began screaming, Satou simply turned to A-chan, who had covered her ears.
"I'm just here to see the two new talents." Grinning smugly at A-chan, who grew a tic mark.
"Did you have to scare them though?"
"First impressions are important after all."
"Idiot."
"Oi! Who are you to scare me-peko!"
"Apologies, Usada-san, Uruha-san." Adjusting himself to sit on the gap, Satou simply smiled, eyes closed. "I'm Yakumo Satou."
"Hmph. Don't do that again-peko." Crossing her arms, Pekora simply stared at him, eyes narrowed.
"I-it's nice to meet you, nano-desu." Bowing politely, Rushia pulled her head up, before glaring. "Please don't do that ever again though."
"Shishishi! I'll make sure not to~" Laughing, Satou began sinking into his gap. "I'll see you all later again. A-chan, let's get a drink with Yagoo later."
"Calling him Yagoo now?" Shaking her head, A-chan sighed. "Nevermind. Sure, let's do so."
Falling back through the gap into Yagoo's office, Satou sunk back into the sofa, Yagoo watching bemused.
"Even I heard the screams from up here." Sighing, Yagoo got up, before moving to his office chair and collapsing into it.
"First impressions are important after all."
"Well, what do you think?"
"They have potential. I have a good feeling about Usada-san. Uruha-san on the other hand..." Falling into thought, Satou put a finger to his chin. "Her fate seems very... unstable."
Standing up and slamming his hands onto his desk, Yagoo stared Satou in the eyes, no longer smiling. "Satou-kun, I trust your judgment with my life. You have never given me false information before, and you have always supported my dreams. Please, tell me, what fate does she give off?"
Satou closed his eyes, concentrating. Magic was common in this world, with different people having vast abilities many others would be jealous of before. From growing plants to creating ice, even Satou's gaps could be considered magic. With the world coming together to make sure those with supernatural abilities didn't go rogue, magic became the norm for many. However, there was one ability Satou had that was special, even for others.
The power to view fate, even if it gave him strange nightmares involving a scarlet devil and a destructive vampire.
"Her fate, while shrouded in life and death, has a very similar feeling to the other one that was terminated a while ago. What was her name again?" Scratching the back of his head, Satou opened his eyes.
"I think it was Hitomi Chris?"
