We walked out of the courtroom looking calm, but deep down, disappointment weighed heavily on me. The verdict had been delivered—Mr. Salud was not guilty.

I had expected a different outcome, one that would finally bring me the justice I had been waiting for. But the court had spoken, and I had no choice but to accept it.

Still, something about it didn't sit right with me.

We returned to the museum in silence, each of us lost in our own thoughts. The place was quiet, as if the whole building was still processing what had happened.

Mr. Rendon was already waiting for us when we entered our assigned room.

"Blaze, Greg, Vince—you guys are back!" he greeted us warmly, his usual cheerful demeanor unaffected by the weight of today's events.

Greg returned the greeting, though his voice lacked enthusiasm. "Yes, Mr. Rendon, but we might have to prepare to leave soon."

Mr. Rendon looked surprised. "So soon? Can't you stay a little longer?"
