Capítulo 95: THE CHARADE

" I will like to invite you, your mother and your brother, Ethan to my brother's wedding." I calmly told her the reason I had called. There was a pause on the other line. For a few seconds, she didn't say any word.

"Are you sure that is what you want?" Matilda asked, her voice uncertain, shaky like the thought of what i said was unbelievably.

"Yes. I want you all to be there. It's a way of bringing the family together." As I spoke I could see the playful smile of Angeline. She looked at me with a sly smile that scared the shit out of me. " It would be nice if you can convince them to come. I'm sure Rowan will like to make peace with all of you. He would be happy." I lied.

" Really? Enough to make him give us back our mansion?" Matilda sounded so excited, like a child that had been gifted their favourite toy.

"Yes. That's possible." I responded,not sure how long my lie would last before it'd soon be discovered.
