Capítulo 191: A Family Only Event

Sarah's POV:

Jacob kept trying so hard to convince me for a week that I still looked beautiful.

Everyone else did; every day I watched my hair become thinner. Today, the nurses decided to shave it off.

"Mother" Amber smiled at me; she stood next to me with Kim and Josh.

"You will be fine, Aunty," Kim said, and I nodded and smiled at them.

The doctor assured me that my hair was going to grow back and that I was fully cured.

I already spent up to a month at this hospital, and I just want to leave.

I stared around the room as everyone smiled at me. "You did it," Jacob muttered, and I chuckled before I closed my eyes and let the nurse shave my hair.

I saw a bunch of hair fall on the bed. I knew I was ready for this, but it still hurt a lot.

Elma walked closer and sat next to me.

"What are..."

Before I could finish my words, she took the machine from the nurse and shaved her hair.
