Capítulo 47: Night of Stars II

Aurelia was annoyed, trying to contain the look of discontent across her lips. Trying and failing. She was bored. The sight of her friends dancing with each other made her antsy to experience it. She'd had a mind to share a dance with someone else but felt wrong doing so. The idea of dancing with anyone aside from Zariel would not do. The mental image alone made her stomach dip. 

Randolph and Slade had taken up a seat beside her, chatting away while Kura looked on with envy at everyone having fun.

She wasn't a very pretty child compared to nobles pampered from birth. There was a hardness to her features that many nobles did not like. Be it her frizzy hair she could do nothing about or buck teeth, she was never looked at twice.

"Fine… we can dance, " Zariel relented, sensing her growing frustration. She had made a few good defenses in his opinions and had assisted in developing new looks for many of his customers when she wasn't obligated to.
