I quickly pulled away, feeling a surge of fear. How did he know I was here? What was he doing here?

I could see the anger in his eyes when he saw John kiss me.

"Lexi," I tried to say, but instead, his eyes turned a bit red, and before I knew it, he had John by the neck, lifting him up.

"Lexi, stop," I pleaded, but he was too angry, staring at me.

"I told you that you belong to me alone. How could you betray me like this?"

I didn't know what to do. I needed him to stop before he killed John.

"I love you," I quickly said, noticing him release John and turning to look at me.

"What?" he asked, and I moved towards him, staring into his eyes.

"I said I love you."

I could see the doubt in his eyes as they began to turn red, and I quickly kissed him.

After a few minutes, I pulled away, still gazing into his eyes.
