Other commoner students began walking up to the noble youth. They cursed him for using his status to bully other students; however, other noble students joined in to defend their comrade.

"It's been only a few days into school and the marginalisation has already begun." Luke shook his head.

Regardless of the time and place, humans will always find a way to segregate the normal people and bully the weak with status. In the Nexaria empire, the children of the wealthy families attended a different school which the children of the masses could not attend. 

Luke revealed a strange smile as he continued eating and paid no attention to the commotion. A few minutes later Luke heard approaching footsteps and when he looked over his shoulders, he was surprised to see Charles Songweaver and Jane Mindmelder making their way to him.

"Hey, guys" Luke tried his best to hide the surprise he felt and tried to act normal.
