Yeah… I have come to the conclusion that this place is officially nuts…

I mean… I guess it's already obvious from the start but I didn't really think this would be normal here…

"Are those staff members or…?" I asked, leaving the end of the question to drift off.

Ingrid turned to smile at us, "Oh, those two were guests as well! They made bets on themselves to win~ Would dear guests like to participate as well?"

Mara gave her a side eye, "How do you calculate the odds?"

The woman's smile got a little bit wider, "We determine that based on the bets of the others who are watching the match! You will be told the odds before you make the bets so you don't need to worry!"

I'm actually not sure what we need to worry about if that wasn't the case but ok?

Ingrid then turned to shoot me a weird smile, "Does dear guest wish to try your hand at the game as well?"
