Capítulo 38: Susanoo (1)
"Are there stronger Yokai than the ones I've turned into my shikigami?" I asked Yasaka.
"There is one. But it's not a Yokai but a god, and it's sealed rather than imprisoned."
"Can I see it too?" I asked curiously to see what they were.
"I'm afraid I can't. I would need permission from the other Yokai faction as some of the I graved seals belong to them."
"I see, that would be troublesome... Some might outright refuse. Knowing what I was going to do." I said as I thought of something... Is this the OG Orochi?
"Yes." She replied.
"Just curious, this sealed Yokai is Yamata-no-Orochi, is it?" I asked her since this Yokai is the big boss of Japanese mythology.
"Yes, it is." She nodded as I guessed correctly.
"Well never mind then," I said, before thinking.
'I would've used Yamata-no-Orochi as a material rather than turn the guy into my shikigami since it's a dragon AND a god. Because I haven't gotten a good material so far, as the blood of Phenex and Gremory didn't increase that much Power.'
Yasaka and I left the prison, and we were greeted by a Shrine Maiden.
"Lady Yasaka, Lord Susanoo has descended into here. He wanted to speak with you." She bowed to Yasaka.
"I'll meet him in a moment," Yasaka replied, before turning to me. "Well since you've gotten what you needed. Would you want to see Kunou before you leave?" She asked as Kunou might be excited to see me.
"I will later, can I join your meeting with the infamous god of storms." I also want to meet a 'God of' lightning or thunder of sorts.
"Well, you're free to do so." Yasaka sounded worried.
"Don't worry I won't cause any trouble." Well unless he's the one who moves first I was confident that I would win in a fight against him since lightning is now muda muda against me.
"Alright.." As we moved towards the room where the god was waiting.
"You're finally here..." As he looked in my direction.
"You are?" He said as Yasaka invited an unsuspecting guest.
"He's my husband..." Yasaka said softly.
"Ooh? You've found yourself a new husband huh?" He looked up and down at me. "Interesting, how did this guy manage to seduce you?" Susanoo asked curiously.
He didn't mind that his worshipper got a new husband. But to him, Yasaka was someone who wouldn't love someone that naively, especially as someone who has her position, so Susanoo thought that this person next to her was someone strong. But for now, he set it aside since he's here for something more important.
"Well, either way. I'm just here to ask you something." He said.
"I suppose it's about that pillar of light?" Yasaka guessed. That mysterious light shined every part of Japan.
"Yup. Do you know something about it?" He asked curiously.
'Should I tell them that I was the one who did it?' I thought.
"I'm afraid I don't have any info about that matter for now."
"Well, it's fine... Just a pity that my sister forbade me from going to that territory and asked them myself." He showed annoyance.
"Is that so?" Yasaka said that that was something that Amaterasu would say to her brother to escalate some matter than it originally would.
"That is all that I came here for but... Now that you got yourself a new husband why not tell me about him." He looks at me with interest.
"He is Vile Kuzu, a human magician." She gave me a brief introduction.
"Uh huh, what an unusual name to be named as..." He seemed skeptical about it at first before continuing.
"Nice to meet ya Vile, I am the great Susanoo-no-Mikoto the kami of storms!" He puffed his chest out as he introduced himself.
"A pleasure to meet you as well Kami Susanoo." I was thinking of asking him to have a spar, for a moment. But held back as I promised Yasaka that I would not cause trouble.
"Now heheh." He came closer to me. "How'd you managed to seduce a woman like Yasaka? Despite knowing what her position is?" He curiously asked.
"I'm just that handsome lord Susanoo. Even the likes of Yasaka is captivated by my charms. And who am I to say no to a beautiful woman like her." I arrogantly stated.
"How arrogant for you to say that, aren't you afraid that once she announces that she now has a husband? Those Yokai that have a grudge against her or the suitors that she had rejected in the past would come after you?" He reminded me.
"Pftt. Them? They won't even hold a candle against the mighty o' me." I spoke in confidence, hoping that I would make him test me in some way.
"Oh~ so you're trying to say you're strong enough to deal with them?" He looked at me.
Yasaka had a bad feeling about where this conversation would go.
"Of course! Would you like to test it out?" I asked him.
"Huhuhu, you're seriously trying to challenge a god like myself?" He said in interest, as he couldn't feel all my POWER and only faintly.
"You're free to do so... How about a light spar with me," I said.
"how about I test you first? If you pass I'll spar with you." He entertained my idea, as he was bored.
'Baited!'

Susanoo took me and Yasaka to a place called Takamagahara.
"Is this the place where the Shinto Gods reside?" I asked as I looked around, this is my first domain where Gods hang out.
"Hehe, of course. What do you think about it?" Susanoo asked.
Takamagahara was like Japan in the Edo period with its traditional architecture, except for those creatures which I presume are Yokai that work here. I could also see a lot of paddy fields all around. It's like I've time-traveled back in time.
"It's oddly similar to the human world, minus the creatures around," I replied, I expected it would be somewhat of a mystical place; that had an over-the-top environment. But I was wrong, Takamagahara was like a calm countryside in Japan.
"Well, unlike the Heaven from the Biblical Faction, The Asgard from the Nordic Faction, or even the Mount Olympus from the Greek Mythology, who, all of them have flashy and fancy domains. Ours on the other hand kept it simple, that represents Japan."
As we headed to a large field, where I would be tested by the practitioners of arts of this place.
"So Vile, pick whoever you want to fight. Do know that they are strong as they are elite disciples here, so you shouldn't hold back." He reminded me. 5 Yokai then stepped forward.
A Tengu, a young dragon person, Oni, chimera looking Yokai, and a Yokai wearing shogun Armour. Presented forward.

'They all just look like elite mobs.' As I inspected them all. 'They all feel weak...' Feeling disappointed.
"Why don't you all come at me together?" I provoked them.
"Huh dare this human challenge us all together, tsk." The dragon snorted as he thought that ganging up on a weak human was below him.
The Oni and the Chimera stepped forward and introduced themselves.
'Hmph. We'll teach this human his place.' The two of them thought the same, while the Tengu and the one with the armor just observed for now.
"Hyaaaa!" The two of them charged, without a plan...
'Charging right towards me...' Are they the best fighters?
As I effortlessly dodged all their pitiful attacks.
"Grrr!!" The both of them gritted their teeth in anger as all of their moves were dodged.
"*sigh* Poor you, why don't you two just surrender?" I offered them a way out of pain.
"Were are the elite disciples of Takamagahara! We will not back down!" They both insisted.
I pulled out my Playful Cloud as I hadn't been using this bad boy in a long time. As I was about to show them my overwhelming intensity.
I slammed the right rib cage of the Oni, which made him groan in pain as he flew away.
'The previous Oni I fought felt stronger than this one... What a letdown.' I was disappointed with these elite practitioners, that a prisoner was stronger than them.
This made the dragon who was just sitting, immediately stood up as the two fighting me might lose if this keeps going on.
After the Oni few, the chimera was hesitating moving forward. Since he wasn't moving I approached him menacingly.
The other 3 seem to be on the move. As they all approach me together.
The Tengu flapped his fan and created a small tornado, the dragon was controlling the water around his body. While the armored one was about to unsheathe his katana towards me. Seeing that the allies of the Chimera were finally joining in he gained the courage to step forward to attack me.
*Thunder Swarm*
I infused my playful cloud with a lightning element from all the lightning-based abilities I've collected, where I released lightning all over the field like my previous move *Inner Thunder*, but this one is much more refined as the other one was just for emergency purpose in a case someone jumped scared me kind of a panic button.
My thunder blew them all away, paralyzing them in the process, this made Susanoo who was watching all of this, He felt even more interested as my thunder was on par with his for some reason.
"So. What do you think." I looked at Susanoo.
"Hmhehehe." Susanoo laughed as he thought that his 'spar' with Vile would be interesting.
