Capítulo 81: 81
The air is thick with words. You stand aside and watch the other colonists debate among themselves what they want to do. Everyone in the colony, Evgeniy included, acts as jury under the framework of the colony charter. After all the deliberation, the ballots are cast. The results spread across the wall.
The colony votes against Evgeniy. By popular decree, he is confined to close quarters under a locked door. His meals are brought to him each day, and he is allowed but not required to continue working for the benefit of the colony.
His sentence is until his risk to the colony is no longer considered an existential one. Throughout the trial, Evgeniy remains reluctant to offer information. He stares straight ahead and considers his fate already sealed.
Imprisoning their representative is a blow to the reputation of the G81, and the newsfeeds back on Earth are thick with speculation.
