"I can't stand this hotel," she muttered to the sky as she peered through the window of Kevin's room and watched the first rays of the sun. "I don't think I like Beverly Hills either." 

With a heavy sigh, Natalie walked over to the corner of the room where a chair held Kevin's neatly folded clothes. She tossed them onto the coffee table next to the chair and plopped down, pressing her hand to her forehead and squeezing. She opened her eyes and stared at Kevin's untouched bed.

Where did you sleep last night, Alonso?

Three loud knocks on the door startled her. She jumped from her chair and cautiously approached the door then looked through the peephole. No one stood outside. 

"...That's strange."
