The judge now asked the prosecutor to state his case in response to Mr. Yu and Mrs. Yu's claims.
"There was never an accident, Honorable Judge. They are just disguising the surgeries with an excuse. I would like to call Dr. Yang in the witness box."
The judge glanced at Mingshen sitting on the backside.
"Allowed."
Mingshen raised his brow in amusement and stood up.
"Boss," Bojing whispered. "D-Don't talk back to the ju-judge, okay?" He was at the point of begging.
"That depends on what comes out of his mouth."
"..."
Mingshen's white coat fluttered back in the air and he stood on the opposite end of the witness box. He stared at the parents with an unreadable gaze to which they faltered.
The defense quickly stood up. "Objection, Honorable Judge."
The prosecutor was speechless. "I haven't even asked my question yet."
I mistakenly reversed the defense and prosecutor roles in the last chapter so I have edited it and used the correct version in this chapter. In actuality, Ehuang's side is prosecuting her parents and the parents are being defended, so she goes to the prosecutor side and the parents to the defense side.
My bad *cough cough* (• ▽ •;)
