Capítulo 128: Where Is Chen Emmi?

 The atmosphere is tense at the Chen mansion also as Chen Chloe paces around her bedroom. After a sleepless night waiting for her cousin to return she realizes she must still be with that terrifying man. The dormitory is closed for Winter Break and she would have nowhere else to go.

 Wringing her hands she keeps anxiously muttering, "Bai Cai! Bai Cai! The man from the University isn't an Underworld thug! He is the head of the powerful Bai family! He could easily destroy our entire family with a wave of his hand. Maybe he doesn't know I was involved…would Peng Hua rat me out? Put the blame on me?"

Frightened out of her mind that she might be in serious trouble,she makes the difficult decision to confide in her mother. Although she might suffer at her mother's hands she believes it is better to face her wrath than wait for death. Mom will know what to do.
