Those people who were desperate for the job or very gullible who just accepted a job offer without reading the contract were often the people who are exploited to the extreme by their superiors.

In her previous life she also read all contract offers carefully as she didn't want to be put in a difficult situation because of what she had signed. 

Most people actually just speed read their employment contract which is somewhat understandable as it would be many pages long. Doing that most of the time doesn't have any consequences as long as the place they are working with is humane. However not all workplace is like that there were still some that would exploit their employees because of the contracts they signed.

She looked at Fred Grayson who was reading the contract and just went back to singing some documents. She still needed to sign a lot of documents so even if Fred Grayson was still in the office she started working so as not to waste time.
