Helena's breath caught in her throat as she recognized the trainer before her.
Memories flooded back. She could almost hear Dune's voice resonating in her mind, recounting tales of the greatest trainers in Pokemon history.
One warm night, while Dune and Helena lay in the fields back at their poke ranch, admiring the stars, Helena asked something she had kept to herself for a long time.
"Dune... I know you know a lot... More than a normal Pokemon should, and I've always kept to myself, but there is something I've been willing to ask..."
"Dune, who do you think is the strongest Pokemon trainer? Is it my brother Steven?"
Dune gazed into the stars as if he wanted to devour them. Then, with his reptile-like eyes, he gave Helena a warm look. "No," he said bluntly.
"His name is Red, and he is a trainer from Kanto. For a while, he will be the strongest," Dune had said, his eyes gleaming with admiration as he looked back at the stars.
"He may not hold that title forever, but he started the mythology. Red is a legend, the legend."
The echoes of those words faded as she watched Red's Charizard clear the area, the flames licking the walls as Team Rocket grunts fled in terror.
Red's resolve was palpable; he was like a force of nature.
Suddenly, Red turned slightly, just enough for Helena to catch a glimpse of his determined expression.
The moment was brief, but it ignited a spark of hope in her chest. He had come to help, just as they had.
Once the floor was cleared of immediate threats, Red moved toward a hidden door that blended seamlessly with the wall.
It swung open silently, and he slipped inside, vanishing from view. Helena felt a pull, an undeniable urge to follow him.
She glanced at Dune and Lopunny, who nodded, their expressions mirroring her own determination.
"Let's go," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the chaos around them. They approached the hidden door, stepping inside just before it closed.
They discovered a dimly lit corridor lined with advanced machinery and flickering screens inside. The air was thick with the scent of electronics and something more acrid, hinting at the lab's illicit activities.
Helena's heart raced as she followed the narrow path, unsure of what waited for them.
At the end of the corridor, another elevator awaited them, its doors slightly open. Helena pressed the button, and it opened smoothly, revealing a sleek, modern interior.
She stepped inside, the door closing behind her with a soft hiss.
The elevator began to ascend, and as it climbed higher, the faint sounds of battle from below grew muted.
The atmosphere shifted again, and soon the doors opened onto the seventh floor.
What lay before her was a secret laboratory brimming with high-tech equipment and ominous-looking apparatuses.
The fluorescent lights cast an eerie glow over everything, making it feel like they had entered another world entirely, made of pure white matter.
Red stood at the far end of the lab, engaged in a tense standoff with another trainer—Blue.
The tension in the air was palpable as they faced off against each other, both trainers radiating power and determination.
"Hahaha! What kept you Red?"
"I thought you would turn up if I waited here. I guess Team Rocket slowed you down. They were eaten Torchic for me, tough! Hahaha!"
"...!" Red glared at this trainer, who now identified himself as Blue; his gaze was heavy as if he wanted to kill him, given a 'Not now, you stupid fuck' Kind of stare.
Red gestured for Helena to go further into the lab, clearly focusing on his confrontation with Blue.
Helena nodded, understanding the urgency in his tone. She stepped deeper into the lab, Dune and Lopunny close behind her, ready for anything.
As they moved, she couldn't help but glance back, captivated by the battle brewing between two legendary trainers.
Blue smirked, adjusting his stance as he called forth his Pokemon. "You think you can just stroll in here and challenge me, Red? You've got guts; I'll give you that. But this time, you're not going to win."
Blue said as if Red was the one asking for trouble; this only made Red angry. How big of an imbecile was Blue to stop him in the middle of what could be a terrorist attack?
Red's response was a burning glare. His Charizard standing beside him, flames curling around its snout as it prepared for battle.
"Let's see about that, Blue," he replied, a fierce glint in his eye.
Tension reached a boiling point as the two trainers prepared to clash, leaving Helena and her team to navigate the lab's secrets.
Helena pressed on, determined to uncover what was happening inside Silph's C.O.
As Helena and her team moved deeper into the lab, the atmosphere grew more oppressive, a palpable sense of dread hanging in the air.
The fluorescent lights flickered intermittently, casting eerie shadows on the white walls.
Suddenly, a powerful surge of psychic energy cut through the chaos.
As Helena and the group looked down, they saw that Gardevoir had cut multiple floors open. Her eyes glowed a brilliant shade of blue.
She had unleashed a [Psyshock] that tore through multiple floors, creating a gaping hole that led to the them.
"Gardevoir!" Helena exclaimed, startled but impressed as Gardevoir made herself float with [Psyquic] with great effort. "What's going on?"
"I infiltrated and hacked all of Silph C.O.'s data," Gardevoir responded, her voice calm yet urgent amidst the tense situation. "While I was scanning their network, I discovered secret files. I came looking for you using the scent of Dune's cum still inside you."
Helena's heart swelled with pride and affection for her Gardevoir, but there was no time for distractions. "What did you find?" she pressed, eager to understand the situation.
"Wait, did she just say she sniffed cum out of you?" Lopunny interrupted before being smacked by Gardevoir, who then looked back at Helena and Dune.
Gardevoir paused, her brow furrowing slightly as she pulled something small and sleek from seemingly nowhere.
It was an extremely tiny laptop, barely the size of a modern cellphone or Helena's PokeNav, scarcely the size of her palm.
Lopunny raised an eyebrow, glancing at Gardevoir with a teasing grin. "Where did you pull that from? Your tits?"
With a dignified nod, Gardevoir pointed to her own chest, a hint of smugness in her formal tone. "Indeed. The wonders of technology allow for much utility, even better with the flesh to back it up."
She quickly connected the tiny laptop to a nearby server, fingers moving gracefully and precisely.
The screen lit up, and within moments, a series of commands and programs flashed across it. "Uploading a virus now," Gardevoir announced, her voice steady.
"This will infect all computers connected to Silph C.O's main data center; any computers connected to their main network are infected, and secondary computers and systems are being infected by them."
As Gardevoir worked, she started humming; for her, this kind of corporate espionage was as easy as stealing a kid's candy, having access to their physical servers, data centers, and main network with no one to bother her? It was the dream,
This was like hacking a major corporation with as much as a USB because this was what was happening.
Once the upload was complete, Gardevoir straightened, her expression turning serious. "This floor was constructed to study 'Subject 606-6,' a genetically modified Zoroark 20 years ago... Testing has resumed this month."
Helena's eyes widened. "Genetically modified? What do you mean?"
Gardevoir's gaze darkened as she explained. "Subject 606-6 has undergone extensive experimentation, enhancing its abilities beyond normal limits. Some files suggest that Silph C.O. intends to use it as a weapon."
Dune stepped forward, his massive frame looming in the dim light.
´I don't remember any of this; anything I don't know, I must, I need to learn it.'
"We need to stop them. If they're weaponizing Pokemon, we can't know what other things they have done."
Helena nodded, her resolve hardening. "We have to find this Zoroark and end whatever they're planning. But first, we need more information. Can you access anything else, Gardevoir?"
"Indeed," Gardevoir replied, her fingers flying across the keyboard. "I can trace the lab's network to locate Subject 606-6's containment chamber. However, we must move quickly; I cannot guarantee how long the virus will hold before the electricity runs out..."
As she worked, the hum of machinery and the distant sounds of battle echoed through the lab, reminding them of the urgency of their mission. Helena felt a surge of adrenaline, fueled by the knowledge that they were about to confront something significant.
Lopunny glanced back at where they had left Red, who was still engaged in his battle with Blue. "What about them?"
"We'll have to trust that Red can handle himself," Helena said, her voice firm. "We have our own mission to complete."
Just then, the screen flashed, revealing a schematic of the lab. "Here," Gardevoir said, pointing to a blinking dot on the map. "This indicates the location of Subject 606-6. It's taking another secret elevator to the 11th floor. We should head there immediately."
As she spoke, the power ran out of the building, leaving Gardevoir's chest as the only illuminated object in the room.
In the darkness and with renewed determination, Helena, Dune, Lopunny, and Gardevoir made their way toward the indicated floor.
As they navigated the lab's labyrinth, Helena felt a sense of urgency, not just for themselves but also for the countless Pokemon that could suffer if Silph C.O. succeeded in its twisted ambitions.
"Stay alert," Dune warned, his senses heightened. "We don't know what we might encounter."
Helena nodded, her heart racing as they arrived at the elevator. Stepping inside, as the elevator moved upward, they could feel it brought them closer to the truth behind Silph C.O.'s dark experiments.
Yet, something was stirring inside of Dune's mind.
'Just what in the hell changed the world so much? I know It can't only be me, just for what kind of situations would you need to make a modified Zoroark...'
'Oh no'
'It can't be'
'Legendary hunting...'
