Capítulo 46: Grab it before it’s gone
"Do you want to continue?" Chen asked, floating in the air.
Tsunade gritted her teeth. Being outdone by a five-year-old hurt her pride.
Without saying another word, she used Geppo to launch herself into the sky.
From a distance, Kushina gasped. "Look, Mikoto! Tsunade-sama is flying, dattebane!"
Mikoto nodded, her Sharingan eyes activated to catch every detail. "So this is Geppo..."
In the air, Tsunade threw punch after punch, but Chen moved with an inhuman fluidity, dodging every attack as if he were dancing among the clouds.
Although Geppo allows her to fly or stay in the air, it doesn't allow free movement in the air. Unlike Chen, who with his Devil Fruits, can move freely.
Frustrated, Tsunade landed forcefully, creating a small crater. "Come down and fight like a man!"
Chen descended gently, a playful smile on his face. "As you wish. Although I could easily win from the air, I prefer that you have no doubts about your defeat."
Both prepared for the final showdown. Chen's fist was covered with a shiny black layer, imbued with pulsating violet chakra.
Tsunade, not wanting to be outdone, concentrated a massive amount of chakra in her own fist, along with Haki.
In an instant, both used Soru, disappearing from sight for a second before reappearing in the center of the field, their fists colliding with cataclysmic force.
The explosion was deafening. A shockwave expanded in all directions, creating a 100-meter diameter crater.
Mikoto and Kushina were thrown back, rolling on the ground before managing to stabilize themselves.
When the dust settled, Tsunade lay at the edge of the crater, blood dripping from the corner of her lips.
Chen floated above the center, without a visible scratch.
"Incredible," Tsunade murmured, struggling to stand. "You're... you're monstrously strong, Chen. I'm no match for you."
Chen descended, landing softly in front of Tsunade. "You're strong, Tsunade. But there's a vast gap between us."
Tsunade let out a bitter laugh. "At 8 years old, I was considered a genius. But you... at 5 years old, you're something else entirely."
Despite her words, Tsunade stood up, determination shining in her eyes. With a battle cry, she used Soru once more, launching herself at Chen.
Chen sighed, dodging the attack with ease. "Face reality, Tsunade. The gap between us is enormous."
Those words ignited fury in Tsunade, but before she could retort, Chen exclaimed, "Yata no Kagami!"
Using the abilities of his Pika Pika no Mi, Chen clasped his hands together, creating a dazzling sphere of light. With a blinding flash, he unleashed a massive beam that reflected off several reflective objects in the training field, forming a tunnel of light.
In an instant, Chen transformed into a flash, moving through the luminous tunnel with unimaginable speed.
Before Tsunade could even blink, Chen appeared beside her, throwing a punch toward her chest.
Tsunade, with her newly awakened Observation Haki, barely managed to sense Chen's breath, but it was too late to dodge.
With a precise and calculated blow, Chen hit her generous chest, impacting directly on the left nipple. However, to Tsunade's surprise, she didn't feel any pain. Chen had withdrawn all his strength at the last moment.
Still, Tsunade's fury ignited when she realized where Chen had struck.
"Tsunade, if I told you this wasn't on purpose, would you believe me?" Chen asked with a mischievous smile.
Tsunade, her face flushed not from pain but from embarrassment, glanced at Mikoto and Kushina, relieved to see they were too far away to have noticed what happened.
Turning back to Chen, she growled, "You little pervert, how dare you say it wasn't intentional? I need to teach you a lesson!" And with that warning, she lunged at Chen, trying to grab his ears as punishment.
But Chen, with a satisfied smile, simply vanished in a flash of light, effortlessly evading her attempt. "You'll have to be quicker than that, Tsunade."
What followed was a chase across the training field. Chen, with his superior speed, easily dodged Tsunade's attempts to catch him.
"Impossible!" Tsunade exclaimed, panting. "You were already like this at such a young age. If you keep growing like this, you'll be the second Jiraiya."
Finally, seeing that Tsunade wouldn't give up, Chen let himself be caught. Tsunade took the opportunity to scold him, though deep down, she was impressed by Chen's abilities.
"What happened to the arrogance from a few moments ago?" Tsunade mocked.
Chen, with a smile, replied, "I'm sure I never hurt you. Otherwise, how would you have awakened your Observation Haki?"
"Brat, I'm Princess Tsunade. Why would I need a child to show me mercy?"
"Yes, yes, yes! The great Tsunade-sama, I can only bow and surrender," Chen said with exaggerated reverence.
At that moment, Mikoto and Kushina came running over. "Chen, Tsunade-san, are you okay?" they asked, concerned.
Tsunade, casting a meaningful glance at Chen, replied, "Of course, we're fine, although I did hurt myself a little."
