Capítulo 200: Cultivation 1

I decided to go with the original cultivation world, the cultivation system of the rest was too weak and short.
While most cultivation systems had only nine major realms in the mortal realm, they had eighteen, twice as many realms, and each major realm was way more powerful than their cheap copies.
I dropped in on the wasteland of the mortal realm, where everyone knows you meet the most protagonists. Cultivation could wait, I already had infinite energy and didn't need to absorb it from the heavens and I also had prepared myself with some techniques, all I needed was some time and a place to stay.
While walking through the small city in human form, I listened in on the gossip.
"I still can't believe the trash young master from the Xiao clan is going to marry the princess of the Qin clan tomorrow"
"Have you heard? The young master Xiao collapsed during his daily stroll and still hasn't woken up yet"
"Are you sure? Maybe he is just too ashamed to marry someone so out of his league. He can't even cultivate."
"It's true. I heard it from my sister's cousin's neighbor's aunt-in-law who is having an affair with a doctor. She said he will most likely miss his wedding."
"Bah, if this waste had any face left, he better not appear tomorrow. He's just toad dreaming of eating swan meat."
I didn't need to be Omniscient or be an expert in Chinese yapping to be sure that I just caught my first protagonist. I wonder what his cheat will be and what his reaction will be when I take it from him. I can already smell the face-slapping that's going to happen tomorrow.
Besides the gossiping about the wedding tomorrow, there was also talk about a sect coming here in two weeks to accept disciples. From that, it was safe to say that the young master Xiao would need two weeks to reach the required level of the second major realm, the Body Refining Realm, by then.
That would only place him as a mediocre talented Xianxia protagonist at best. I had time till tomorrow to place my bets on what his cheat, or golden finger as they call it, and what kind of protagonist he was.
Will he be a reincarnator from a different universe or a time traveler? A mighty being or just a lucky nobody who got an opportunity to cultivate? So many options and I had no clue unless I used my Omniscience. I had almost forgotten the thrill of not knowing.
Regardless of the who and how, there were only two ways this was going tomorrow. Either he wakes up, slaps some young master's faces, gets married before the bride leaves before the wedding night, or the bride will annul the wedding and he will swear revenge for humiliating him.
It was as predictable as it was fun to watch. Some non-Chinese reincarnator with common sense would immediately be considered a fortune teller and become powerful just by predicting when the protagonist would get his next fortunate encounter.
Let's just book an Inn for the night and start my cultivation, I wonder how far I will come in a single night.

After judging my appearance with scrutiny, the receptionist acted like he didn't just look at me like a beggar. I don't know why but everyone here loves to look down on others but will immediately change their face once they realize the other person wasn't easy to mess with, well, everyone but the protagonist, he always looks down on anyone, even if they are the reincarnation of god himself.
"Give me one room for the night" I threw him a few coins and he threw a token with my room number back. The room was small, dirty, and uncomfortable and I was sure even the best room had the same problems but I was too used to the god-level comfort of my tower and I could already predict how booking the best room would end.
I just wanted to start cultivating before watching the show tomorrow, no need to start fighting with young masters for a room I don't even like.
The first major realm was called Body Awakening. At that level cultivators couldn't yet cultivate so they increased their potential with bloody training, or if you were a young master, medical herbs. The realm didn't technically have an upper limit but stage nine was the minimum requirement to enter the next major realm.
You could go past the ninth stage and drastically increase your future potential with each stage but naturally it also became drastically harder to reach the next stage. From the theoretically endless stages you could reach in the first realm, so far, seventeen has been the unbreakable record for trillions of years.
But who was I? Even if I already had more potential than the first realm could ever give me, I would still break the record. Maybe not in a single night but definitely in two.
Time to get as many stages to prepare myself for the journey before me.
