"Think about the complexion of your friend. Surely, white will be a better color on him."

"You are right. But I think it will make him look too gorgeous. I do not want anyone else to try and steal my friend from me."

Meria sat on the seat like a doll, waiting for his dress to be chosen.

The shopkeeper and Alfred giggled as they chose one dress after another.

Mera had tried to interfere before, saying how he did not care about what he wore, but the look he had gotten had quietened him down.

From then on, Meria decided not to say anything about what was happening and quietly sat in his seat.

"Meria, what about this? Go and try this outfit out."

The outfit Alfred held in his hands was an elaborate garment Meria had never worn.
