Capítulo 22: Life in Hollywood
Eve had just finished talking with Shekar Kapur, and was about to return when she bumped into someone on the way. It can't be called bumped, because the other party was clearly standing in her path.
Looking at the disgusting smile on Harvey Weinstein's face, she didn't even bother to smile or greet, and looked coldly at him. She would rather smile at a pig rather then Harvey.

Harvey pretended as if he wasn't the one being treated coldly. He said: "I want to talk to you about Miramax's next project. Miramax is producing a film specially for the next year's Oscar. Although you didn't win this year, you might win next time. Miramax will support you fully."
Yes, Miramax is indeed planning a new movie in compliance with Oscar's taste. It's about Shakespeare and his lover's story. Although they are in discussions with Gwenyth Partlow for the role after Winona, but for a beautiful girl like Eve, changes can still be made. Eve, Matt and Ben all three belong to the influential families in Hollywood and have known each other since they were kids. While greeting, Matt joked: "Why are you walking so fast. It's like as if someone's chasing you."

Their written screenplay "Goodwill hunting" was sold to Miramax for production.
Eve shook her head: "Don't worry. He can't do anything to me. Hollywood is not owned by him."
Matt and Ben understood the words and breathed a sigh of relief. Eve's right. Harvey may be influentail, but not as much as Kevin Huvane and Liam Thompson. Each of these two names is better than Harvey Weinstein in terms of status and influence. Kevin Huvane is co-chairman of Caa, and Caa is the number one agency in Hollywood. While Liam Thompson is an executive of 20th century fox and holds direct shares in the company. He alone is more than enough for Harvey in terms of influence.
"Let's get these things aside and enjoy ourselves." Eve moved first and took the wine glass to lighten the mood.
Other two also nodded and everyone enjoyed themselves a drink. Matt and Ben drank fully, while Eve just took a glass of wine and then drank juice after it.
Drinking under the age of 21 is indeed illegal in America, but this is Hollywood and here nothing is illegal as long as you are not caught. So, sometimes she also drinks with her friends, although a glass only.
