Capítulo 54: 54 Signing up in The Starfall Arena
"What is Enlightenment? I haven't heard anything about it. Brian asked, now whispering like the rest.
"You don't really hear about these types of things until you become a mage, pluse its pretty rare for people to even enter Enlightenment." Tom paused for a second to collect his thoughts.
"I don't know enough about Enlightenment to say why its happening, But I do know a person will be in a deep meditation and give off an unique aura while in Enlightenment. They will wake up with a whole new understanding of there element, people say it was like there element was talking to them." Tom said as everyone continues to watch.
Ryan was clueless of his surroundings and the passage of time. He was lost in the feeling of Enlightenment, he was lost in the feeling of understanding the truths of the world.
(I get it nothing in the world is static, everything is moving. I see, its the result of an imbalance in an object. When its imbalance, it will charge up and will be forced to fine a way to discharge.)
Time pass as Ryan understanding start deepening, and as his understanding deepening, he realizes how little he truly understands.
"How long will this take he been like that for almost an hour." Brian asked
"I don't know, I don't have much knowledge about Enlightenments. I never really cared about it at the time, I just remember hearing a little about it." Just as Tom got done talking there was finally a change.
The rock in Ryan hand started to float. Slowly the rock started to spin faster, and faster.
BOOM!!
Ryan eyes shot open and lightning strikes hit the ground all around and turned the rock into dust. If you look closely, you could still see electric currents flickering and moving across the ground.
Ryan stood there not saying a word but rocks, pebbles, and dust started to float off the ground.
Swoosh, clatter,
Everything that he had floating start traveling through the air at a fast speed to form a ball of rocks in front of him.
Swoosh, clatter.
The ball got bigger and bigger as more rocks traveled over. It didn't take long just about a couple of seconds for him to form a ball of rocks that was 3 feet in diameter.
Ryan eyes shot towards a tree in the slight distant.
Swoosh, BOOM!, Swoosh, clatter.
He shot the ball of rocks at the tree that broke off a good cup of the tree and caused the rocks to shattered apart flying in all directions.
Everyone that was watching had a shock expression on seeing Ryan display his other element.
Ryan started walking towards them with a big smile on his face. He couldn't look more happy. Brian was the first to recover from his shock to speak.
"Wow, your element seems very powerful, im sure you didn't go all out."
"My element can do way more than that. Many ideas is popping up in my head of other ways to use it, my lightning element is vary versatile." Ryan said and you could hear the confidence in his voice this time around.
"What was it like, you was standing there for an hour without moving." Brian said with curiosity obvious in his tone.
Ryan had a look of confusion when he heard Brian.
"What do you mean, what was what like, and I wasn't even aware I was thinking for that long. Honestly it felt like I was thinking even longer than that but shorter at the same time, humm, weird."
"All the signs shows you was in Enlightenment. You would have a better understanding what Enlightenment is since you been through it but from what I heard from people, its like a deep meditation. Your element will start talking to you or something, so you would have a better understanding of your element." Tom said with a hint of envy in his tone.
He can't help but to wish to enter Enlightenment with his unknown element. He could only imagine how much stronger he could get, he wouldn't be stuck at rank 4 anymore.
"Oh, that was Enlightenment." Ryan said with realization on his face.
"Its not to far off from how you describe it, but i don't think my element was necessarily talking to me. It was more like someone was showing me what my element was doing. Like if I thought of how does my element do something, it was as if someone was guiding my imagination to picture it happening right in front of me. Making it easier to understand my element." Ryan said with a smile still on his face.
"If yall don't mind I need some time to sort out all my thoughts, I can't stop thinking about many things. Ryan walked over to a log and closed his eyes and enter meditation.
The three of them just look at each other as Ryan walked away.
"Yall need to continue to train, his combat power will shoot up after he digest everything he gained from his Enlightenment. I wouldn't be surprised if he could beat you after he get done, better practice even harder." Tom said as he looked at his kids
Brian and Elizabeth narrowed there eyes with determination and motivation to train harder.
A week went pass in a blink of an eye and they all trained enough to feel confident in winning a match in the arena. Ryan already made his preparations to fight in the arena and sorted out all his strategies. He even tried them on the others, and he was satisfied with the results.
Ryan, Brian and Elizabeth made there way inside The Starfall Arena. They headed to the spot to sign up in the arena.
The signing up for the arena didn't take long but there was a slight delay in checking Ryan core rank. The artifact that they was using was showing he didn't have a core and the attendance tried many times before calling there higher ups for a solution
Ryan didn't know they was having trouble until the higher up came to him.
A beautiful woman came walking in, with a shapely figure. Her hair was kohl-black and it plunged over her shoulders. Her puffy, heart shaped lips, would make you subconsciously want to feel how soft they are. The tone of her voice and professional outfit she was wearing, made her seem like she have a elegant personality
"Are you using any techniques to hide your core?" The women said in a kind voice to Ryan as she walked in the room.
Ryan hearing her words, and the long wait at checking his rank could guess why she was asking him this question. He had thought there was a chance this might happen, but when he brought it up to Tom. He said its a high chance they will still see through it, because they will be using a high level artifact.
(I should of known it wouldn't work, Tom believes i was using a technique just like her, but I'm not.)
"Oh, my bad, Yes I am. Try again I will stop using my technique."
The woman walked out as Ryan activate his core, and released mana from it. A few moments later the woman came back with shock in her eyes.
"It worked, you a rank 1 novice right?" The woman asked with a hint a disbelief in her tone.
"Yes I am."
"You can head out that door to the sitting area and wait for more instructions." The woman said in a kind tone with a big smile on her face.
As he left her smile vanished and she called one of her subordinates over.
"I want to see that boy files he filled out and have someone keep an eye on his matches for me. He can't be ordinary if he could have a technique that could fool the high level artifact at rank 1. Her eyes traveled up as she said that.
Ryan was already planning on releasing mana to make sure they could see his core, but he didn't know they was already attempting to check his core rank by using the artifact hanging in the room.
He didn't want to draw any extra attention to himself. His dad told him before that having the attention of someone stronger than you could be a blessing, or just as much as an disaster too.
