General Huo bowed his head in greeting, unusually docile in the way he conducted himself. The man was renowned for his flaming and boisterous nature, but on this particular morning, he didn't appear to be in such a flaring mood.

"I want to request a meeting with Chi Chengxin," General Huo stated, unbothered to even address the fact that the Grandmaster of Ice was residing in his newly taken in disciple's chambers. "I heard that he returned last night…I just want to ask him a few questions about by son."

Han Xuelian, out of habit, would usually be averse to allowing Chi Cheng to be in the company of others but even he had to admit that he didn't have a sound reason to deny the Huo General his request.

"I see you have recovered compared to when you first arrived," General Huo pointed out. "May the Celestial Emperor grant you good health, Grandmaster Han."

'He's unusually polite today,' Han Xuelian denoted, folding his arms across his chest.
