Capítulo 52: Chapter 52 – It's easy to mistake a teacher for a toilet seller

"Alright, here are the supplies provided by the school for you," Sakagami brought over a large cardboard box and placed it on the ground for everyone to see.

Contained within were just two tents, two flashlights, toothbrushes and towels corresponding to the number of students in the class, and a large number of black plastic bags. There was no water or food, let alone luxuries like toothpaste or shower gel. It was a very realistic set of basic survival supplies for a deserted island.

Several girls in the class, seeing these so-called 'supplies', looked disappointed: "Sakagami-sensei, can you give us some makeup remover first?" Knowing they were coming to the island today and thinking it was a vacation, many of the girls had woken up before dawn to put on makeup. They all looked radiant, but now they realized they were going to have to survive on a deserted island with their makeup still on, which was quite uncomfortable.

"You can, in exchange for special exam points," Sakagami didn't refuse but rather helpfully pointed to the handbook: "The school has prepared most of the supplies, including makeup remover, which is of no use on a deserted island. The school has it in stock."

This statement made the students of Class C both amused and exasperated. Should they praise the school for being well-prepared and considerate, or criticize them for the harshness of this deserted island special exam?

The girls, wanting to maintain their facial treatment, soon lost their enthusiasm when they thought about the importance of class points, which were linked to their personal points for the next month. It seemed acceptable to remove their makeup with water this time.

Noticing the girls' dilemma, Sakagami quickly added: "You don't have to worry. The school is quite humane. Sunscreen and feminine hygiene products will be provided unlimitedly and for free. If you need them, just say so."

"No problem," Yukio chimed in from the side. "Let's start with a bottle of makeup remover. We're going for a zero-point strategy anyway, so what's the difference?"

"Eh? Yukio-kun, is that really okay?" The girls' faces lit up with both joy and worry. They were happy that Yukio was willing to spend special exam points for their benefit, but they were also concerned about the impact on the class points.

Yukio waved his hand nonchalantly: "It's fine. See if there's anything else you need. Let's get it and aim to use up all three hundred special exam points."

His bold statement made the students of Class C worry: "All of it? Are you serious, Yukio-san? Isn't that too extravagant? We can endure with just a part of it."

"Yukio-san, it might be better to save some, right? These points can later be converted into class points."

The students of Class C originally had items they wanted to exchange for, but seeing Yukio's lavish spending, they became apprehensive, hoping he would reconsider and not be so extravagant in his spending.

"What are you talking about?" Yukio looked around. "Just relax and have fun. Ryuen and I have already planned it. We'll play for a few days and then all go back to the cruise ship. We're not going to play along with the school's foolish waste of our holiday."

"Since we're going back anyway, the points will definitely be deducted. So why keep any? Just spend boldly. Don't worry, when have you ever seen me make a loss?"

With the long-established prestige in the class, Yukio's explanation made the rest of the class members comply, even if they were apprehensive.

After all, under Yukio's leadership, the whole class had indeed benefited the most. Although it might seem a bit dictatorial, everyone knew that without Yukio, it would be difficult for them to rise to Class A.

If they couldn't graduate from Class A at Advanced Nurturing High School, the hoped-for social mobility they wished for when entering the school would not be possible. They weren't children anymore; everyone knew what they should do.

Seeing everyone obediently agree, Yukio was in a great mood. He called everyone over to discuss what they should exchange for fun.

Once they heard they didn't need to survive on a deserted island and that Yukio would cover everything, the students of Class C really stopped worrying and started giving splendid suggestions: "Barbecue! We definitely need a barbecue! How can we not have a beach barbecue when we're by the sea?!"

"Jet skis! Water scooters! I saw people playing with them when I went to the beach before, but I was only in junior high then, and my parents didn't let me play. Now that I have the chance, I have to try it, right?"

"Wow, there's so much water entertainment? Then we definitely need to exchange for swimsuits and swim trunks, right? We can't be operating them in our school's sports clothes."

"Good brother! Support! Swimsuits, swimsuits!"

"And definitely ice-cold beer, Yukio-san! It's such hot weather! In the middle of summer! Having a cold beer while sweating in the heat, how refreshing would that be!"

"Ishizaki." Sakagami finally laughed and patted Ishizaki's shoulder: "Among those participating in this exam, there are no students over the age of twenty."

In other words, everything else is possible, but as for alcohol, forget about it until you're of legal age.

"Ah?" Ishizaki's face visibly fell, his disappointment turning his expression ashen, like a withered, dreamless fish.

Yukio chuckled: "No worries, I saw in the manual that a small fridge is only 30 points, quite cheap. We can buy some drinks to freeze in it, that should be no problem."

"Yukio-san, you're really the best!" Ishizaki regained his enthusiasm, giving a simple and honest compliment, which prompted laughter from the entire Class C.

This laughter seemed to draw the attention of the other classes. Yukio glanced around and noticed that under the leadership of a bald student named Katsuragi, Class A was orderly and serious, systematically determining their material exchange needs.

In Class B, Ichinose remained as sunny and cheerful as ever, seemingly unaffected by the daunting task of wilderness survival. Her liveliness and cheerfulness appeared to ease the worries of her classmates, who treated the special exam like a challenging camping trip, all smiles and laughter – not much different from Class C's atmosphere.

Finally, there was Class D. Yukio noticed that Horikita, who had stood out during the mid-term exams, was unusually silent at the moment, standing outside the group with Ayanokouji. On the other hand, Hirata, who had voluntarily signed a tribute contract with Class C, was holding the exchange manual, trying to pacify the arguing boys and girls.

Among the four classes, Class D was the noisiest and most argumentative, their debate about whether to buy a toilet audible even from a distance.

This reminded Yukio of a small detail he had almost overlooked: "Right, Sakagami-sensei, bring us two portable toilets."

Sakagami's eyebrows inevitably furrowed: "Yukio, sometimes I really wish you'd choose your words more carefully. The way you say it makes it sound like I'm selling toilets."
