'Bitch!' Silas's fists clenched tightly, his knuckles white. The disgust in his eyes deepened. He was not even surprised because he knew very well what kind of woman she was.
Maya was the type of woman who would do anything to get what she wanted. She could sleep with anyone, and maybe she even enjoyed it rough. But this time, she had gone too far, framing him in her twisted game.
"Where are Sam and Rocky now?" Silas asked coldly. "Did she silence them?"
Arthur's shoulders slumped in defeat, and he shook his head, looking even more miserable. "I don't know. I asked her, but she wouldn't tell me. All she said was that she sent them far away, out of reach."
He looked up at him, his gaze turning pleading. "I've told you everything, Silas. Please, let my family go. I beg you."
Silas's expression didn't soften. He knew Arthur would rush back to Maya and start plotting against him as soon as he released them. He wouldn't take any risk.
