He anticipated a pill that would help with his cultivation, which was currently lacking. However, since he was going to use his body refining for combat at the academy, the Vitality Surge Pill seemed fortuitous for the time being. What he lacked for more training was more stamina.
The only problem was the ingredients, Theron used his insight skill to look into them.
[Sunfire Ginseng Root]
[Description: A potent herb known for its ability to amplify and refine the body's energy. This herb thrives in regions with abundant sunlight and nutrient-rich soil, absorbing the essence of the sun]
[Sunflower Drops]
[Description: Extracted from the vibrant Sunflower, these drops contain concentrated energy and vitality]
He would be able to get the sunflower drops very easily since there were even sunflowers in the park. However, the ginseng root, he didn't know if he would be able to find some but luckily he was able to see that there were some in his storage ring from the random herb drops that he didn't usually check. There were 7 ginseng roots and 15 sunflower drops.
The next step was obtaining a cauldron. He wondered where he would get a cauldron,
"I guess I will have to trouble Grandpa Cedric again"
He was comfortable with money as what his grandpa gave monthly was generous and since he didn't spend that much, his money was piling up.
The only thing he wondered was the ore, what ore should he use he thought as he took out his two peculiar ores. He ruled out the frost ore since flames were needed to do alchemy and it might get off an inverse reaction rather. The other ore however,
[Shadowsteel Ore]
[Description: A rare and mysterious ore, the Shadowsteel Ore is known for its deep black hue and elusive origins. Found in the heart of treacherous terrains and places touched by shadows, this ore absorbs and resonates with the essence of darkness. When properly forged, it yields a material that possesses exceptional durability]
He wasn't sure if the Shadowsteel Ore would be suitable for crafting a cauldron, but its durability made it worth a try.
Why he wanted to make progress on his body refining rather than his mana core was because he wasn't going to show it. He wanted to keep it as a secret weapon. But of course, in order for it to be a secret weapon he would need to make it strong as well.
That evening, he arrived at the basement of the Silvercrest mansion. Before a seemingly ordinary door, he used a key to unlock it. Though it appeared straightforward, but the mechanisms that were put behind this single door was in fact not. Stepping into the room, he could see shelves of books, looking a bit similar to the library but the contents were entirely different. The books here were books about spells. Of course, powerful spells, the secrets of the Silvercrest were not stored here. He checked around the place. It was his first time being here. He didn't have a reason to come here before since he didn't even have a mana core but now was different.
After he had grossed over the books, three rank 1 spells were chosen.
[Fireball (Rank 1)]
[Description: Conjures a fireball, being able to be thrown at targets. Upon impact, it releases smaller embers which can potentially ignite a larger area.]
[Flame Palm (Rank 1)]
[Description: A close range attack spell which manifests a burst of flames in the caster's hand, ideal for both offensive and defensive applications.]
[Embers (Rank 1)]
[Description: Conjures embers which can be used as temporary light source.]
The fireball and flame palm were for combat whereas the embers was just a utility spell. After reading them and learning how to cast them, there was a new section in his system which was opened, named spells with proficiency for each spell much like the skill section but for spells.
After getting back to his room Theron started to cast the fireball spell, forming the spell structure with the mana flowing from his core. After the spell structure was formed, a fireball appeared on his hand where he drew the spell structure and because of the elemental manipulation from before, he was able to make the spell structure without failing but as expected, he was still quite slow when drawing it. He wouldn't need to use his hands to draw but just his mental and elemental manipulation. He didn't want to burn down his room, so he just dissipated the fireball.
Next he tried the flame palm spell which set his hand on fire but it didn't burn nor hurt his hand. He put his other hand on this flame but it didn't hurt either. He put a small piece of paper on his burning hand to see it burn to ashes. He tried to do it on both hands but failed ultimately due to having to draw and maintain two shapes at the same time. Finally he tried the last spell, creating a small ember which wasn't able to light the piece of paper but it emitted a good amount of light

(The next morning)
Theron looked at the new academy uniform he had received. Whether he would be able to maintain this suit well rather the badge would depend on his performance later. He wore the uniform which consisted of a long white coat over a black vest and a white shirt. Paired with dark blue pants, the uniform was well-balanced, and a black necktie completed the look. The academy emblem adorned the coat shoulders, while the class emblem adorned the necktie.
With the recent announcement, students returned to their normal classes from before. Inside the classroom, students could be seen in different clothes with males being in similar attire as Theron whereas the girls had a chic and stylish long dark coat. Underneath was a white shirt and a dark blue tie. A navy blue skirt and sheer stockings which covered from waist to toe.
He went inside at sat in his usual seat and started to read a book but there were still whispers which he couldn't help but hear.
"Why did Theron choose the Special class?"
"Shouldn't he have chosen Academics?"
Professor Evelyn entered the classroom.
"Settle down"
"Everyone should have chosen their options"
"Starting from tomorrow the new buildings will open and the classes will be distributed again"
She said as she glanced around the class. When she saw Theron and his badge and was surprised but maintained her composure and continued.

(At the blacksmith)
Theron walked into the blacksmith, Forge Crafts. There was an old man with hearing aids who looked at him entering. There was a brief moment of silence before Theron decided to break the silence
"Umm, hello sir"
"Didn't I tell you to call me Grandpa Cedric"
"Yes, Grandpa Cedric"
"Didn't you already have your katana, what brings you here again though I don't mind you being here"
"It's sometimes boring around here"
"I will be sure to visit more often, Grandpa"
"Haha, I am just joking well what is your purpose this time"
"Was there something that you didn't like with the katana"
"No, no I like it very much"
"Then what is it though"
"I would just like to commission something"
The old man stared at him for a while before saying,
"What do you want to commission?"
"I wanted to commission a cauldron"
"A cauldron?" Cedric asked in confusion
