“Actually, our informant, who has infiltrated the club as one of Henry’s subordinates, has been keeping us updated all the time,” Bam explained. “So, we could take care of Henry’s men before they could reach Mr. Joke. Obviously, that was a part of our plan. We wanted Henry to think that he had captured him when, actually, the men he sent out were also our spies. As for the rest of the team, we have already arrested them.”

Hearing that, everyone then nodded in understanding. Still, Madame Fon seemed to be hung up on something, as she still stared fixedly at a certain troublemaker, making him sweat.

“Ms. Bam might have saved Joke in time, but you two going all the way to the underworld is entirely another problem. I’ve told you so many times not to do that, haven’t I? If you two had not entered that damn club, things wouldn’t have gotten to this point.”
