"King's style is similar to yours, isn't it?”

"Similar to mine?" The bespectacled man pointed at himself. "No way. My deck’s nothing compared to his.”

“I was talking about the style.” Rin smiled broadly. “King's strong point is that he uses the card combos at the right moment. Using his poker face to trick the enemy that he is at a disadvantage and go along with their plans before turning the game to his advantage with just one single card… isn’t it the same you did to win against that Singaporean champion’s deck?”

“It was a fluke in my case. How could it be compared with that?”

Joke only shook his head in denial. It was true that his and King’s gameplay style was somewhat similar but the timing of King’s card deployment was so perfect. It was as if he could read his opponent’s thoughts and had already planned four or five steps ahead, the rest was just to deploy his cards at the right moment, and seize victory.

“Hey, Rin, you also come today?”
