Capítulo 33: Chapter 33 I hope I didn't break his neck

Liam is now in the infirmary, admitted right beside Jimmy's bed. Yesterday, when Liam was on his way to the infirmary to see if the doctors' ability could help him or not, he found that Ben and Ken were bullying a weak-looking student whom he had never met before.

Seeing this, Liam's heroism rose, and he stepped in without caring about his weakened state.

But instead of stopping the bullying, he got bullied, and all his points were snatched as a result.

Ben and Ken were also searching for Liam, but they couldn't find him, so they were just letting out their frustration on some random guy they saw on the street. Then fate played its trick, and Liam presented himself in front of them. They let go of that guy they were bullying and beat the crap out of Liam, just as Jin Wei ordered.

But that's not all; they even snatched all Liam's points from him. Even after getting the points, they didn't stop until he was completely unconscious, and only then did they leave. After that beating, Liam was hospitalized.

Liam regained consciousness late at night and found himself in the infirmary, right beside Jimmy's bed. Jimmy was also hospitalized like him, and his injuries are more serious than his.

After Liam woke up, the doctor came to give a check-up and again used his ability on Liam. Then Liam realized that the doctor's ability was not going to help him with his bloodlust.

The doctor informed him about Jimmy's situation. Jimmy was found like this behind the gym. After an investigation, the military realized that no fight had occurred, indicating Jimmy took just one side beating without getting the chance to fight back.

Not that the military would care if it was a one-sided beating or two sides. As long as no one dies, they won't interfere.

The doctor also informed him that Jimmy's brain got damaged a bit because someone continuously hit his head, and almost all his teeth were now broken, so they replaced them with new artificial ones.

He also informed him that there was nothing to worry about with the current technology; Jimmy would recover in a few days, back to normal, and his cultivation journey wouldn't be hindered.

This frustrated Liam to his core. Liam promised himself that once he gained strength, the first thing he would do was change the military from the inside, so no one would suffer from bullying in the future.

Fortunately for them, the first years don't need to pay for medical treatment, and it's mostly free. If a student is hospitalized, they don't need to give a fine to the academy for not attending the class, or Liam would have been really in trouble as he currently has no points at all.

"Those damn evil bastards!!!" Liam cursed out loud in anger as he remembered Ben and Ken's faces.

In Liam's eyes, they are just too evil, and he needs to put some sense into them and all the other bullies. How can a hero-king like him sit still and not fight for justice? If he doesn't fight for justice here, how can other innocent students live in peace?

Although Liam wants to beat them up and put some sense into them, that isn't his primary goal, as he needs to deal with his bloodlust first, or he might hurt some innocent people, and the hero can never allow him to do that.

After the doctor left, Liam stayed awake for the whole night, as for some reason he couldn't sleep, and his head was getting dizzy. But that's not all; his bloodlust was getting hard to control with each passing moment.

"Sigh, what can I do?" Liam grumbled, but then his eyes shifted towards Jimmy's neck, which wasn't covered. For some reason, he could now see even the veins on his neck, and his body was screaming for his blood.

"No... no... no... Never!!!" Liam began to shake his head, not even letting that idea enter his head.

Jimmy was his best friend, and also he was currently unconscious and ill. So how can he take advantage of him, and drink his blood like that without getting his permission?

But still, Liam was getting desperate with each passing moment, and countless thoughts and scenarios began to enter his head.

What if he lost his reasoning, then won't he attack anyone in his sight? Then won't he even hurt Jimmy first, as he is close to him? Then won't the military know about his secret and take him as a lab rat? Then how would he save humanity?

Liam was currently fighting with himself to decide what he should do. Should he just endure and then lose his reasoning, attack everyone in his sight, and become a lab rat for the military? Or should he drink Jimmy's blood to heal himself now and stop any further problems from occurring? But won't that be betraying Jimmy's trust?

As Liam was busy thinking about all this stuff, he didn't notice that someone quietly entered the room wearing a simple black-looking armor-type dress that completely covered his body from head to toe, except for his blood-red eyes; nothing could be seen.

That mysterious guy didn't stay in a single place for long. Right after he entered the room, in just a second, he got behind Liam's bed and struck Liam on the neck. Making Liam fall on his bed completely unconscious.

The unknown mysterious guy then checked Liam's pulse and breathing and finally confirmed that he was unconscious.

With that, the black armor-like thing on his head began to disappear, revealing an extremely handsome face with pale white skin, blood-red eyes, and thick medium-length hair, and that man was none other than Jin Wei.

"Sigh, I hope I didn't break his neck," Jin Wei muttered, but he wasn't scared or anything; on the other hand, he was smiling.

"Well, now that I found both of them here, I should proceed with the plan." Jin Wei thought as an evil smile appeared on his face.
