Capítulo 45: In a Good Mood

On their way to the hospital, Tang Shi Yi stopped by a cake house to buy something sweet for her daughter. Tang Chen watched as his mother chose some cakes from the display and smiled.

"Chen Chen..." Tang Shi Yi was about to ask her son which cakes they should choose for Xiao Xiao and their grandmother when she saw the little boy smiling. "Hmm?" Her head tilted to one side. "Chen Chen, why are you looking at me like that?"

"Mommy, you seemed to be in a good mood," Tang Chen commented.

Tang Shi Yi chuckled. She pinched her son's cheek lightly and smiled. "How did Chen Chen know that Mommy is in a good mood?"

"It's because Mommy is smiling a lot today."

She swiftly placed her hands on both cheeks. "Did I?" Tang Shi Yi was indeed in a good mood. However, she did not expect that her mood would be too obvious that her son would notice it.

"Mommy, did something good happen today?"

Tang Shi Yi recalled her meeting with Ye Heng earlier.
