"Wh-what...what the hell are you!? A mere Human can't possibly be this powerful!" Snapped the Manticore, swiping his claws at me as I closed in on him.

I ducked under the swing of his claws before reaching out and grabbing his throat, reducing it to ash and severing his head, which hit the ground with a thud and rolled away, as his body collapsed onto its knees.

I stepped back as another spike fell off his back, before he began to resurrect, his head rapidly growing back before his eyes opened, a look of fear in them as he lifted his head and met my gaze with a flinch.

"Get up. You've still got two whole lives left, I'm not done with you yet," I stated in a cold fury, as he shrunk back in fear.

"S-stay back...I-I'm warning you, stay back!" He snarled, as he sent his stinger shooting out towards my chest.
