"Wow, that was quite resourceful of her, I wasn't expecting that," Remarked Livia, as cheers continued to ring out around the stadium.

"Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it, she's a lot more capable than I expected. I'd say she's about on the level of a B-Ranked Adventurer, and considering that she's only been training for two years, that's saying a lot," I replied with a grudging nod.

Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting this...she was at a clear disadvantage and managed to keep a cool head and turn it around, there are a lot of more experienced Adventurers who aren't capable of doing that.

I doubt she's strong enough to make it past more than one or two more rounds in the tournament, at best, but by winning her first match, she's assured herself a top sixteen finish at the very least.
