Capítulo 50: Chapter 49 - Hard Bargain

"There it is up ahead, looks like we're almost there," I remarked, as I glanced out the carriage.

"It's about time, that took forever," Sighed Aura wearily.

"You know, you really didn't have to come along with me," I pointed out wryly.

"Yeah, but I had nothing better to do, so I figured I might as well tag along," She shrugged in response.

Today's the 2nd of May, 1031, and I was currently traveling to the Capital along with Aura, having received a letter from Consillia yesterday. She wanted to discuss something about Estella, but didn't specify what in her letter.

She also said I could bring Aura and Dec along if I wanted to, so I mentioned it to them last night. Dec already had a commitment with a Quest he'd taken that was supposed to take place today, so he opted out.

Aura was free, so she decided to come with me.
