"Well, that fucking sucked," I grumbled with a slight shudder, glancing up wearily as the city came into sight in the distance.

"I don't know what you're complaining about, I'm the one who had to extract the Cores out of those disgusting abominations," Responded Arkiela with a frown.

"Yeah, don't get anywhere near me, you're probably covered in their bodily fluids, talk about gross," I replied with a wary huff of disgust, moving away from her.

"Wha-...don't treat me like I'm dirty, you shithead! I'm a literal fucking Angel, you're just a slowly-rotting sack of meat, like all you mortals are!" She snapped indignantly.

"Well, at least I'm not covered in roach juices. Oh, sorry, my mistake, I meant giant roach juices."

"Damn it, I'm not covered in anything, you fucking prick!"
