After a few more minutes, Merwyn began to nuzzle her neck and inhale her scent deeply.

The sound of the bubbling brook filled the air around them.

She relaxed against him and listened to the sounds of the forest.

She looked up at the canopy, then down at the sparkling stream, and around to the vegetation.

Everywhere she looked, she heard music, or voices, or singing, or even sounds she couldn't even name.

It wasn't just the fae singing or playing music, though.

That would have made her question silly.

Like the air itself was singing with a voice she could and yet also couldn't hear.

Maybe the question's answer would be inane like most fae related questions - something like 'it's just how the fae air works' or something.
