Capítulo 114: One Hundred and Fourteenth

Merwyn wrapped an arm around her, waving at her with his other hand. "Hii~! Wifey~!"

He grinned and she smiled a little back in response, unable to resist. He was so happy and excited, just being around him was infectious.

It was hard to stay mad or annoyed at him, and the worst thing was she suspected he knew that well.

Still, when she thought about it, her stomach twisted up a bit, and she looked away from him, pouting.

He hummed, squeezing her affectionately. "Are you grumpy, wifey~? Hmmm~? Noooooo, can't be!"

He wasn't quite like a dog. He had too much pride to beg and he didn't like being looked down on, so he definitely wasn't a pet.

And yet.

All he wanted to do was spend time with her and give her affection.

It was actually rather sweet and endearing.

Even if she was irritated that he wouldn't give her a straight answer about what that fae said.
