Orion, Thorn, and Aria began to sprint away from the soon-to-be bloody battle, they were rushing headquarters while the screams of innocent civilians burning to the ground could be heard perfective clear in their ears.

Causing them extreme guilt, but there was nothing to do about it, the only thing they could do was sprint with all their might, even after their lungs were on fire from running so much.

A gifted of their level wasn't someone who could feel exhausted, but they overuse their gifts, and even if it was a week ago, their body was in a state of extreme exhaustion, something that was detrimental for them right now.

But there was nothing they could do as they needed to reach the headquarters, even if they were now aware of the threat of vampires, they needed all the information about the threat the City of Dein was currently facing.

Meanwhile, Talon, Rokara, and Quinn stayed back to fight, to buy as much time as possible.
