Capítulo 2: The Nightmare

After hearing the news from Ivy, Shirley of course immediately asked Ivy to help her prepare, she would go to the place where Noah was. If Shirley remembered correctly, he was keeping Noah in one of the lodges in Marquess Estelle's domain.

Fortunately, Marquess Estelle's residence was not crowded in the morning like this, the problem was that it would be difficult for Shirley to get out if any of her family asked. Gradually Claire had gotten Shirley's memories, so she knew that none of her family knew that she had kidnapped Count Janice's youngest child.

"Don't say where I'm going, if anyone asks just say I'm going out for a while," said Shirley reminding Ivy to keep her mouth shut and not say anything about her leaving.

"Take it easy, Miss! I'll keep my mouth shut," Ivy replied as she nodded her head obediently.

Shirley patted Ivy lightly on the shoulder, then waltzed away to get into the carriage that was waiting for her. There were actually two reasons why Shirley decided to meet Noah at this time.

The first was that Shirley wanted to make sure that the young man Ivy was referring to was Noah or not. Secondly, she wanted to see what Shirley had done to Noah, the problem was that sooner or later people would realise that Noah was missing.

It took Shirley an hour's drive to get to the lodge where she had placed Noah. Once there Shirley hurriedly left her carriage and went in search of Noah.

Fortunately the guard she had placed at the lodge immediately led Shirley to Noah who indeed seemed to have done something this time. While walking towards the place where Noah was, Shirley chose to ask the guard about the current situation.

"Tell me what's really going on here?" Remembering that she had to act cold, Shirley held back her current feelings of anxiety and curiosity.

The guard looked timid as he answered Shirley's question, "The young master started rebelling and going berserk, there was no stopping him. We had to tie him up," explained the guard, not daring to look at Shirley.

A sigh could be heard from Shirley, as if she had to calm down Noah who seemed to be unhappy with what Shirley had done to him. "It's only natural that he's throwing a tantrum, considering how the real Shirley kidnapped him," Shirkey's mind felt that his fate was on the line at the moment.

After arriving in front of the room used to confine Noah, Shirley could hear a disturbing sound coming from inside the room.

"Didn't you say that you had him tied up?" Shirley wondered why there was still sound coming from inside the room occupied by Noah.

Increasingly anxious about what was happening in the room, Shirley hurriedly opened the door loudly. The first thing Shirley saw was the deadly glare that Noah gave her.

With one look, Shirley immediately recognized that the young man who was now bound on the bed was Noah Benedict Janice, the youngest son of Count Janice's family and also known as Thalia's beloved brother.

Although Noah's role in the original novel didn't really matter, Shirley realised that Noah's face looked very handsome. She wondered how handsome Victor would be as the male lead, when Noah alone was this handsome.

However, Shirley was frozen in place when she noticed how Noah was looking at her at the moment, she couldn't say anything at the moment, she was trying to dig into her current memories to find out what the real Shirley had done to Noah.

"After that moment you finally came back too. I told you that Thalia wouldn't care, even if you kidnapped me like this," said Noah still with his cold face as he said this to Shirley.

When she heard Noah's words, Shirley was quite surprised. The atmosphere in the room was certainly very intense, even though Shirley was prepared that Noah would yell at her and swear at her.

But what Shirley got instead was a statement that shocked her, how could Thalia not care about Noah. "Is he trying to trick me into letting him go?" Shirley thought in her heart full of questions.

"But, wouldn't it be better if I let go immediately? Isn't it my goal to not die quickly in this world?!" Shirley became excited as she found an opening to let Noah go.

However, again Shirley's excitement was immediately dashed when she saw a transparent screen appear in front of her and warned her not to be Out of Character. Instantly Shirley was shocked she didn't expect something like this.

Seeing Shirley not budging after hearing his words, Noah opened his voice again, "Whatever you do will not make Duke Blair return to you," said Noah again reminding Shirley who for some reason was just silent in front of him at this time.

Because she was still in shock from what happened earlier, Shirley had unknowingly moved from her position and slapped Noah hard. It was the loud sound of her slap that made Shirley realise what she had done.

Shirley's face immediately turned deathly pale as she realised what she had done to Noah, it was not her doing, she had unconsciously slapped Noah without intending to do so.

The transparent screen appeared in front of her again with a series of orders that she had to carry out while she took over Shirley's body.

Seeing that notice Shirley felt like crying, wasn't it the same as if she would die if she committed a crime against Noah?

Shirley did not expect that the transmigration she did would give her a system like this. If this is the case then Shirley cannot let go of Noah at this time, like it or not she must keep Noah like what the original Shirley did.

Before opening her voice Shirley slowly took a breath, "How dare you say that to me?! I won't just let Victor go, he was mine from the start!" Shirley yelled at Noah as she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"I don't care about your feelings for Duke Blair or anyone else! Just let me go, I have nothing to do with them." Unlike before, this time Noah turned his anger on Shirley who had tormented him all this time.

A wicked grin etched perfectly on Shirley's rosy lips, she slowly released her grip on Noah's collar and chose to catch Noah's chin this time.

"I had intended to take someone precious away from Thalia, she had to feel what I felt when she took Victor away from me. Until Victor is back in my arms, then you will not be able to leave." Shirley mercilessly slammed Noah's face hard, and then left the room.

Shirley was no longer thinking about how Noah was screaming at her right now, she should probably think about shutting Noah up for now.
