So here's the question:

Why would Captain America think that the person with his face is Loki?

Considering the illusions Loki created at the Dark Energy Joint Base earlier, Tony naturally made a guess.

Loki's illusions shouldn't just be limited to creating illusions of himself; he should be able to create illusions of other people, too!

Or in other words, as a god from Asgard, the magic Loki possesses is not limited to simple illusions.

It's highly possible that Loki can transform himself into other people.

So, did the other Captain America mistake future Captain America for Loki in disguise?

If that's the case, it makes logical sense.

However, this also means that the current situation could be even more troublesome.

The Avengers might not just be under Loki's control; some of them could be Loki in disguise!

Of course, all of this is just Tony's speculation.

Although Tony thinks this is very likely, he has no concrete evidence to prove it.

But one thing Tony is certain of is that you can't be too careful with Loki.

No matter what, he is still a god from Asgard!

[And then there's the future Iron Man and Ant-Man!]

[To get the Tesseract, the two of them worked together to outsmart the past Iron Man.]

[They even made the past Iron Man's heart stop, which was incredibly thrilling.]

[Who would have thought things would go wrong, and just as they were about to get the Tesseract, a furious Hulk messed it all up?]

[Plans really can't keep up with changes.]

[Loki took advantage of the chaos and used the Tesseract to escape.]

Here he is!

Finally!

Tony Stark, who was eagerly waiting in front of the diary, got excited instantly.

Finally, they were talking about his future self?

Of course.

No matter what the future Avengers are here for, whether it's just for the scepter or another mission, he, Tony, is undoubtedly one of the key players involved.

He must be the main character of this "time-travel show!"

And indeed, the diary mentioned him.

If Captain America's mission is to get the scepter, then what about his mission?

"The Tesseract?"

"I should have guessed!"

Tony immediately felt a jolt. It seemed like he had grasped something.

The Tesseract is the Space Stone!

No wonder the Avengers went through the hassle of time travel for it. It couldn't just be any ordinary item.

An Infinity Stone, coveted by both Thanos and Odin, certainly matches such urgency.

The diary had mentioned that the future Avengers started collecting Infinity Stones, even that Black Widow died during one such mission.

So, was this their mission to collect the stones?

Tony hadn't expected that this mission involved time travel.

The Avengers traveled back in time to collect the stones.

He had to admit, the future Avengers played it big.

Such a grand scheme, Tony couldn't help but inwardly praise it. No wonder the Avengers, with his involvement, were indeed extraordinary.

Wait a minute!

Tony's expression suddenly turned serious. He thought of something crucial.

If his guess was correct, and the future Avengers traveled back to collect the Infinity Stones, then why did future Captain America steal the scepter?

Does the scepter also contain an Infinity Stone?

"The Mind Stone!"

"I know how the Mind Stone came into being!"

As soon as the thought occurred, it was like a window in Tony's mind was suddenly opened, revealing the truth.

The diary had recently mentioned the Mind Stone.

Although it didn't go into much detail, the name suggested a connection to mind and soul.

And Prince Loki of Asgard?

He can control people's minds!

He had just controlled Black Widow's mind!

What does this imply?

Putting together these key fragments, the answer became crystal clear:

The scepter must contain the Mind Stone!

Who would have thought that Loki's scepter was such an important item?

So, the Mind Stone that he and Ultron used to create Vision in the future came from Loki's scepter?

Looking at it this way, Loki really was a deliverer of treasures.

But there was one thing.

Why did future Tony and Ant-Man design such an elaborate plan to get the Tesseract from past Tony?

Was the Tesseract in his possession back then?

According to the original timeline, Loki successfully stole the Tesseract and used it to open a portal.

So after Loki's failure, shouldn't the Tesseract have been handed over to SHIELD with the scepter?

Wasn't the scepter already in SHIELD's hands?

So why wasn't the Tesseract transferred along with the scepter to SHIELD?

Apart from this is the angry Hulk.

In his rage, the Hulk almost loses all reason and is capable of anything.

Although the exact details are unclear, it's possible that the Hulk could have destroyed anything.

Tony thought briefly but decided not to dwell too much on it.

"Did Loki really take the Tesseract?"

"So, did my future self fail?"

Tony was surprised when he continued reading the diary.

Loki escaped with the Tesseract?

And he used that opportunity to flee?

So, was this the event where he got captured by the TVA?

Tony didn't really care about Loki being captured.

What he was concerned about was how his future self's mission ended.

Did they find Loki before the TVA and retrieve the Tesseract?

Or did they have some other backup plan?

Considering the TVA is an organization that controls time and oversees the multiverse, even Tony, as arrogant as he is, found it hard to be fully confident in a race against the TVA.

[Luckily, Stark and Captain America took a gamble and risked getting lost in the past by making a second time jump!]

"What courage these two had, after all, that was the last of the Pym Particles."

"If Stark's memory was even a little wrong, even if they got the stones, they wouldn't be able to return."

"But it proved that Stark was reliable enough—they succeeded!"

"Not only did they succeed, but they also had unexpected gains."

"Captain America saw the woman he missed seventy years ago once again."

"Stark also met his father and learned about his father's deep love for him."

As expected.

Loki was caught by the TVA first, and Tony had a knowing look.

The result didn't surprise Tony at all. After all, it's the TVA.

Even though Tony was outstanding, being at a disadvantage in the face of such an entity was no disgrace.

Moreover, didn't Tony come up with another way to solve the problem?

Second-time travel?

Yes, it was indeed the simplest, most direct, and efficient method.

Since his future self had already mastered time travel, traveling to the Battle of New York or another timeline where the Cosmic Cube existed made no difference.

If the Battle of New York timeline failed, they could travel again.

So, was this dangerous time travel, where one could lose everything and forever be lost in the past?

Well, of course, manipulating time isn't easy!

"Pym Particles."

Tony's attention was immediately drawn to that term.

Clearly, the key to the future Avengers' time travel was the Pym Particles.

Judging from the tone of the diary, these Pym Particles were probably the batteries or fuel for time travel.

The consumption of this stuff was unavoidable when traveling through time.

"Pym" Particles?

Why did the word "Pym" look so familiar?

Wait a minute!

Hank Pym!

When the diary mentioned Ant-Man before, Tony had researched this superhero.

He knew that SHIELD once had an agent codenamed "Ant-Man."

And that Ant-Man's name was Hank Pym!

So could these Pym Particles be related to Hank Pym?

Named after Hank Pym because he invented them?

This sort of naming was quite common in the scientific community.

Of course, this was just a reasonable guess by Tony Stark.

Whether Pym Particles were really connected to Hank Pym could not be confirmed from this small piece of information alone.

But, did they really meet my father during the second time travel?

Tony couldn't have predicted this.

The diary had mentioned before that he, Tony Stark, met his father again.

Tony didn't understand how at the time and was very curious about how he did it.

After all, his father had long since passed away.

Now, Tony finally had an answer. It turned out to be via the incredible method of time travel.

But where and when exactly did Tony and Captain America travel to in order to see both his father and Peggy Carter?

Tony made a logical guess based on the current information he had.

World War II!

Or, more precisely, during the Strategic Scientific Reserve, possibly the early Avengers era.

So, because Captain America met Peggy Carter during the second time travel, was he so overwhelmed that he decided to stay in the past and make up for his regrets?

No, that's not right!

Based on previous conclusions, Captain America first traveled back and met Peggy Carter, staying there until the Battle of New York, when he jumped out to join Tony for the second time travel.

So, did Captain America and Stark return to the future together this time?

"Of course, there were also those crucial Pym Particles!"

"Otherwise, Stark and Cap would have been stuck in the past."

"After all, Stark couldn't figure out Pym Particles."

"Pym Particles are definitely the most underrated thing in Marvel. It seems like various generations of Ant-Men haven't truly discovered their real usage."

"Making oneself bigger or smaller is just the most basic use."

"Pym Particles can give someone real interaction with the microscopic level! How terrifyingly powerful is that?"

"Look at Deadpool in universe 12101; he shrunk the bomb and put it in the coffee, almost killing all the Avengers."

"What's even more impressive, Pym Particles don't just work on ordinary items—they even work on artifacts. Thor's hammer was enlarged dozens of times, pinning Thor down."

"Eventually, Deadpool suffocated Thor to death by holding his nose. It was a hilariously pathetic way to die."

Tony Stark couldn't figure out Pym Particles?

Tony Stark couldn't help but scoff; this statement was way too absolute.

To Tony Stark, the world was divided into two kinds of things.

One that he had figured out, and the other that he hadn't wanted to figure out yet!

As long as Tony Stark wanted to, there was nothing he couldn't decipher!

But unfortunately, a person's energy is limited, and Tony couldn't cover all fields, right?

Pym Particles were just one of those.

However, Tony believed that given enough time, he could definitely figure them out.

After muttering his discontent, Tony refocused on the diary, revealing a look of realization.

So making oneself bigger or smaller was Ant-Man's secret?

Mystery solved!

So the diary's mentions of Ant-Man didn't involve other ant-related skills.

It was about shrinking to the size of an ant?

This ability was quite…interesting.

Yes, after revealing Ant-Man's mystery, Tony Stark came to this humble evaluation.

Even though being able to shrink down like an ant was indeed useful, in Tony's eyes, it was just that.

However, if "Ant-Man" were just a generic term and didn't represent Ant-Man's limits, and he could shrink to even smaller sizes, then that would be a different story altogether.
