Capítulo 49: Her portrait

Hermione stood by the portico. Her face contorted in panic as she contemplated knocking on his door.

She hadn't seen him around and Oliver had stated that he hadn't left the manor. He had been confined to his chamber and she was worried that something had happened to him.

Now that she knew what powers she possessed by wearing this bracelet, she had to watch what she wished for.

The bracelet only responds to her innermost desire even if it was for a fleet moment and not meant at all.

It became clear to her that she killed Emily by what she uttered.

She didn't know. It was only a mistake on her part.

Hermione sighed internally, she lifted her hand to knock on the door when the door was pulled open by him.

Her gray-green eyes rested on his face, he seemed perfectly fine.
