Capítulo 27: Consider it done

Xu Jingli was in the shower. The water rolled all over his bronze and toned body so beautifully. When he was done, he got out and dried himself with a towel.

While he was doing this, his phone chimed with a message. He looked at it and saw that it was Chen Mumu. This was the first time she was reaching out to him so it made him very happy. The other times, they were either meeting coincidentally or Xu Jingli was seeking her out.

A smile formed on his lips when he saw the one word she had sent. He had received a lot of accolades yet this was different. It made him feel very proud of himself.

He knew Chen Mumu had sent her this message to congratulate him on his recent contract signing.

He took his phone and sat on the bed before replying, "Thanks. You are not asleep yet?"

He wanted this conversation to keep going on. He waited for a while before a reply came through, "Not yet."
