Capítulo 134: Reward For Him

He held her like a lifeline. His artistic hands rubbed her back as if he were trying to remove the traces of all that pain inside of her. She embraced him fully with no plans of letting go.

"I don't want him hurting you. I was so afraid whenever he would say he would destroy you. You know what people like him are like. That's why I said all those harsh words to you."

Her words buried that insecure part of him, down, deep and under. He knew it was some threat that was keeping her away from him and now it was confirmed.

"He can't do anything to me, Skyla. All these worries just give them to me now. I will handle him and whatever he tries," he requested in a desperate voice.

"I know that now just help me get rid of him. I can't stand to be with him anymore. And secure my father's company. I am tired, I don't have any strength left for abuse," she begged, clinging to his sturdy frame.
