Capítulo 133: The Ugly Hurting Truth

A strong pair of arms pulled her inside and taut against his chest as he shut the door with a bang.

"I got you. Are you hurt?" His desperate voice asked. Firstly he wanted to ensure that she wasn't hurt. That's all that was running through his mind when he saw her at his doorstep, holding a torn teddy bear.

"Not physically, emotionally I am a wreck," she sniffled in his chest, making him tighten his arms around her. So many different emotions were stirring through him like being churned in a large cauldron. She was finally here and her words had shaken him to his core.

"I have got you, Skyla, and this time I am not letting you go." Zyair pressed his face into her dishevelled hair. His temper was rising by the second at the thought of one despicable man. The man who wasn't letting them have an ounce of peace.

He held her against his heat and warmth until she stopped shuddering and her sobs eased down.
